Are you following the tutorial? There should be a pop up at the bottom right of your screen, where a fairy named Jinxie will prompt you on the next thing to do and guide you through the basics of the game. (She may not be the best tutorial, but if you follow her it should be quite adequate)

Unfortunately, you have to follow the tutorial in order to keep going. I don't think you can do anything we tell you before you're supposed to do them. If you are to the point where you can add a sylesti to your party, then go to your starter's profile page, and click on the second blue button on the left. You can get to your pet's profile by clicking on his name. Since your pet is still unnamed, I think the tutorial might tell you to name him first. I can't remember if that's a step. It's been almost two years since I joined, so someone newer might remember the order better.

If you can't read, then how can you understand our comments? Jinxie speaks the same language as we all do...

And what is your native language? What other three languages do you speak....and what country do you live in, how did you even hear about sylestia?

It sounds more like she is saying she can't read English too well, so I guess she kind of can read, but maybe not as fast or well like how you and I interact with each other.

Also, with the comments, you can copy and paste. Then you can put them in google translate. I tried to make my sentences easy for a translator to deal with for that reason. I'm not sure that Jinxie's bubbles can be copied, and if they can, I'm not sure they're that easy to understand through a translator (again, haven't done the beginning stuff in a long time).

I guess, but even so, google translate is cool, but it's fake. It doesn't make proper sentences, it literally translates.
