Can anybody tell me how many mirrors do I have to go through to get to the end of my quest? It seems like it is going on forever. Got any tips I would be very greatful.

The mirrors are a puzzle - each mirror will send you to a different coloured room, some will send you "backwards" and some "forwards" relative to your end goal.
You can try mapping the puzzle by taking note of what mirror you select and where you end up (i.e. the colour of the room), etc.
