Kira woke in the morning feeling slightly sore, hungry, and just a bit too dizzy with excitement. The female Lighira had slept outside for the first time in her life that night, finally away from her parents' sheltered gazes, and away from that boring, stuffy house she was forced to live in. Giving a long stretch and extending her claws, Kira scratched idly at the floor of the cave she'd slept in, a grin across her face.
The young female had longed for a life in the wild ever since she was little, enamored by the stories the formerly-wild tamed Sylestis had told her back at home. Of course, her parents, Hades and Hera, were less than enthusiastic about her running off to live in the woods, but now--now, she was free, and she was going to enjoy it. Walking out of the cave, she looked around the nearby woods, figuring out what she needed to do.
"Oh, right. Food," she told herself, and started to stalk off in a random direction, hoping to find something to eat.

The Young qitari grazed in a small meadow, watching the area around her. she yurned her head to the sound of aurleons flying about and began to walk away before they would see her, seeing as they could choose to fight her. She broke into a gallop and went into the cover of trees.

Now, there might be something. Kira's ears perked up when she saw a small bird, and she started to stalk it, trying to remember what her father had taught her about hunting. However, she didn't get the chance to pounce; the bird flew away, startled at something coming through the bushes. Kira didn't have any time to react before a young Qitari barreled into her, and she fell over into the dirt.
"Hey, watch where you're going, will you?"

"oh. uhh Sorry! I didn't see you." she said, standing. "please don't be mad." she begged, adverting her eyes from the lighira. She kneaded the ground with one of her leopard-spotted forelegs "im So so sorry."

Kira flicked an ear at the Qitari's behavior, but she shrugged her shoulders upon realizing that she meant her no harm. "Eh, no, it's alright. I was just hunting, you caught me off guard." Sitting down, she lifted a paw and started to groom herself idly. "What were you running from so fast, anyway?"

"its fun. and a few aurleons back there look like they might pick a fight im not old enough to fight them yet" she said looking up a little. "don't you need to hunt to eat? how long have you gone without? she asked. "I know where you can get berries" she added.
(at this point shes barely an adolescent)

"Aurleons? Those things are easy to take. Their bones are all hollow, so they usually just fly away when they see me." Kira inspected one of her paws, flicking out her claws to show off. When she asked her about eating, Kira shrugged. "I ate last night, and yeah I do need meat. Thanks for the offer of the berries, though, you should probably take those yourself."

"they aren't easy for me, im so small." she said, finally looking all the way up at the Lighira "whats your name? mine is Genesis!" she asked, relaxing. Her bright blue eyes showed trust for the lighira in them.

"yep! I live alone too!" there was a tone of sadness in her voice. arent you lighiras the most feared sylestis in the forest? she asked, remembering stories she had heard before. She lay down, loving the sunlight.
