There are tons of items that come out every month, but for the people who missed them it becomes quite hard to obtain them. At one point the Nine tails set was made available again temporarily during one of the festivals. I'm not saying make a permanent shop or anything but maybe release certain monthly items back into the shop during festivals or during the specified month the items first came out in? At least to give some of the new players a chance to get them :)
