how do i send gold to another player?

There's no way to directly transfer gold to another player, but what you can do is get them to send you a cheap item for the amount of money you want to give to them.

So for example, if you want to give 1000 gold to someone, they will have to go to inventory, click on a tradeable item, like a mushroom or an equipment, and press the small envelope icon underneath the inventory tab. They will then type your username as the recipient, and put 1000 as the CoD fee.

The item will then be sent to your trades, and you accept, receiving the item and "paying" them 1000gold for it.
