Just an experiment, to see if people would buy into this aha. PM me for more information!
Players may have seen the How to Nurture guide, specifically designed to nurture so many pets for the leaderboard contest.
There is one strategy to:
1. Breed babies
2. Nurture babies
3. Release babies right after nurturing so no one else can nurture them.
I forget if it still works, but if it does:
I don't breed a lot, but I have pets that can be used for breeding.
So I will be selling the opportunity to make some points off of me!
We can negotiate a time for both of us to be online. When we're ready:
1. I will breed the eggs.
2. You will nurture them (ASAP, or else someone else will nurture them and grab the points that makes the strategy meaningless).
3. Once you're done, I will release them.
Since this is an experiment, you can name your price.
If you want to see how many pets I have to breed, just advance search Flute and the species of your choice. I may have more than others (i.e. I have a lot of griffis, but not draeyls).
I may also omit pets (i.e. special themed) from breeding, to preserve their value.
I wouldn't say it's cheating.
But I have seen this done for last festival, both in the nurturer's stables and for friends.
Ping me OR PM me if you're interested, thank you!

This just seems like cheating to me. Even if it was used in the last festival. =/ An unfair diadvantage to those who can't afford to do this or are trying to get a pet for their hard work and dedication. But that's just my opinion. *shrugs*

That is absolutely fine. ^^ I know people rather not resort to this kind of thing. I have posted this in the Region Chat and there were some comments that people wouldn't do this, stay away from it, or just not bother with the strategy at all.
And that is fine with me. /bumps!

@Metalwolfgemstone,
I think it's the type of thing that's like, if everyone else is doing it, then you're at a disadvantage for not doing it. Kind of like the US's system for money in politics. Not sure if anyone has a nice idea for avoiding this problem; I personally am having trouble thinking of a sleek solution. But if nothing can be thought of, then this is just in the nature of the game like the releasing contest from last festival.

Well I guess how I think of it is like this:
Someone doesn't have a lot of money and they don't have a lot of nice tagged/themed pets, maybe they're a newbie. And they see this contest that gives them the advantage at winning a lovely new tagged pet for little to no cost.
Then there are people who have tons of money and tons of beautiful tagged pets. They decided to do this and it gives them an advantage over those poorer people. Maybe they even have pets of the one they're trying out for and yet those poorer members don't even have one of that pet they are trying so hard to get. It just seems way too unfair to me. But then again, this is just my opinion. =/

@Metalwolfgemstone,
We are on the same page. :p I agree with what you wrote!
The only difference is that I see Sylestia as a site responsible for the unbalance, and that any players that does anything that feels "unbalanced" one way or another (helping players who have money or on the other end of the spectrum, giving new players boosts e.g. pets for free) shouldn't be seen as unjust or condemned for it. But rather just part of the system set up by Sylestia.

xD I guess I misread what you wrote. Then again I'm not trying to argue that "I'm right", I was just stating how I felt about it. People can agree and disagree with me.
I've had a lot of wonderful sylestians help me out when I first joined- money, items, advice and pets. I've been recently returning the favor when I can. I mean, I just like to give back what was given to me. People like them helped make my beginning Sylestian experience wonderful. Also I've dealt with so many rude and mean people all my life that Sylestia was such a welcome with all the nice members :)

@Metalwolfgemstone,
Yes, I've had a similar feeling with Sylestia being very welcoming! I actually know Flute goes out of her way a lot of help out newbies too. ;3 There's something that feels extra nice about helping newbies out~ ^__^ As Sylestia's community grows, hopefully we can maintain that friendly down to earth atmosphere. :3 Becomes more difficult, but Sylestia feeling like a small niche community has always been a positive to me. (Though I guess I've sidetracked the conversation a bit here. xD)
