Okay so I'm having a hard time deciding on my next dye project. I've got the 20 greater dyes needed for it.
What I want you to do as participants is go through my stables (would be a Lot easier if you just use the advanced search tool) and Pick a pair of 6v un-dyed pets and play with them in the preview generator, they can have the same genes/mutations or different genes/mutations you decide.
( 6v means 6 visible traits, not 6 genes with a few carries just for those that aren't clear)
You Can use different pairs for each entry if you wish
Pets that are off limits in this are those in 40th and my Completed Projects Stable other wise go crazy making pairs just make sure colors are in the same spot. And that the pair you chose can breed! (not too closely related)
Species I have with possible pairs: (Adult pairs unless the winner wants to wait until the hatchlings/adolescents they choose to grow up to get their prize)
Aeridini (Careful as a lot of these might not breed :x will look through and edit this if I don't have a lot rushing this out before work)

Lupora
Lighira

Morkko's *there are Only 2 possible pairs! as they are 2 females I've bought and the sons of both so the opposite female's son should work testing that tonight by breeding them
Zolnixi's** I have A Lot of 6 visible Zolnixi waiting to be regenerated! Feel free to submit ideas for these as well as ideas for those already with 6 visible traits. (Please note that I'm not particularly fond of the feathered wings so unless it looks Amazing it's doubtful I will choose any of those with feathered wings)
Starting Time: As Soon As I get the 2nd post reserved
Ending Time: 9/20/15 Noon (So In One Month)- When it ends I will choose the winner and dye the pets and hopefully get them a 9/20/15 bred egg from them
Rules:
1. Everyone gets only 5 entries, you can edit your posts and what ever you want to do before the end of the contest, if you have edited it after the ending time of the fest you will be disqualified.
2. No excessive chatting between contestants
4.Please Only post if you are participating!
3. No Reserving Posts and participants only use 1 post for your entries
4. Just post the images (Size 250 please don't need size 500 filling up pages), the ID numbers of the pair you used, and a small explanation of your inspiration. (If you decide to post pictures as well Link it, don't post the picture, this way we can keep it less cluttered)
5. Check for Hidden Genes! If you are using the Advanced Search Function it is those with Purple coloring to their names and 2 letters Like That ->(AB)
Prizes:
The 1st place Winner gets the first offspring from the pair they have that I choose to make into a dye project Once the contest Ends!
2nd place gets their project recolored and an offspring of them once I've the money to get the next 20 greater dyes
3rd place gets the same after 2nd place.
Hopefully by Winter or perhaps Thanks Giving (Black Friday sales perhaps) I will have gotten out the 3rd place's baby

This time it was very hard to choose as there were so many good entries, so much so there was a sneak attack of a 4th place that I couldn't drop because I like them so much ^^;
In 1st place we have Liquidoven's Regal Violet Lighria:

I've Already taken care of regenerating the pair for their genes and mutations.
In 3rd place we have Animela's Colour Spectrum:
And Finally in 4th place we have Blueleaf1234's first Zolnixi entry:

Depending on my paycheck this Friday I should be able to buy diamonds and the dyes for the second place winner. Then it will be every other week or every 4 weeks depending on each of my pay checks and what other things come up to pay for in the mean time.

The first one is acceptable but the second one, flame wings are not available for regeneration. Only feathered wings, butterfly wings, comet moth wings, leaf wings, and glow light wings.

I have been looking forward to playing around with coloring your pets, and with the break from contests today I finally had time. Yay! Un-named and ChiHae
I'm a big fan of natural colors, and thought they suited these lunemara perfectly. I imagined something along the lines of a moth that blends into the bark of trees during the day, and comes out to glow at night.
Maxious and Hiddens Wanted
Edited: Edited again: Okay last re-dye! I promise XD The theme for this coloration is bunnies out in their natural environment. That being said, the base of the bulbori is different shades of brown to blend in with the ground, while the rest of the colors are forms of green to represent the flora they thrive in.
dye and Faded Flower
For this look, I wanted to go for an enchanted/magical design. I tried to achieve a sort of secret garden vibe with the colors.
Koi Petal and Un-named
When I think of both summer and water, one of the first things that comes to mind is an algal bloom. The sylvorpa have a playful appearance akin to a sprite or pixie, and the angler lights and dragonfly wings capture that wonderfully.
Un-named and Un-named
So here is a proposed re-generation and dye scheme for the zolnixi. I tried to achieve a moon light and starry night sky kind of theme.
Hopefully there is one or two in there you like :P

Here are my entries! Hope you find at least one you like. ^^
So basically I chose two bulbs with the same traits, then designed the female and copied the design onto the male. I call this one Sunset Bulb.The female's ID is 763695 and the male's is 1147493.
This design is inspired by crystals and snowflakes, so I named this one Crystal Puff. The femal's ID is 1594395 and the male's ID is 1494042.
Same as the first one, I chose two pets with the same traits. This one is named Flaming Qitari. The female's ID is 1246263 and the male's is 1246262.
I'll do more tomorrow.

I did the 11 and 10 point pair of nixis because it is something different but I set them as a breeding pair.....
