I am just curious why genes can be seen on the hatchlings an mutations show up only at adolsence. Just want to know.

I'm not a biology expert but I did learn a few about mutation way back then... And I hope I'm still right about this!

Mutation doesn't come early or immediately, they need time to affect you and usually can be seen physically which means there are process on the change, I think evolution is also a part of a mutation. Unlike hereditary genes, like black hair from your parents or blond or ginger, they immediately came as you were born.

That's what I think I remember from junior high though... Please correct me if I'm wrong! DX

At the hatchling stage, their art allows to show all genes.

At the adolescent stage, their art allows to show all genes and mutations.

It's kinda like when you're a baby, you have soft tufts of hair that are either dark or light. When you grow up, the hair grows up and shows its true colors, texture, etc. o:
