I captured an uncommon vulnyx and it didn't show up in my stables.

@Numagirl22,

When using traps, they have a chance to fail and the target has a chance to run away from the Battle.

After using a trap, the result is printed out in the combat log for that turn.

It appears as if this one ran away from you.
