Have you increased your party to 2 ? You can do this in the barracks in esior haven. It costs money, but doing a few missions help.

Also remember to put points in strenght OR intelligence, not both. Then, be sure to have the relic appropriate (if you put point in int, one that do magical damage, and STR>>> physical damage)

how do i put the relic in?

Go to inventory, and press "switch to equipment" (in between the header and inventory tab). Any equipment you've obtained from exploring/ mission satchels would be there. Select the pet you want to equip by choosing the stable and pet from the drop down list below the inventory tab. Select the equipment, and select the respective box below the pet.

Like Avaelle said, choose the right equipment and the right level up/ proficiency points. Choose either strength OR intelligence, and physical OR magical damage respectively. Try not to use equipment that give out the points evenly.


Edit: also, not sure if you know this, to inform someone on the forums that you're talking to them (ie ping), press the @ symbol at their post, or write their username in the ping users bar when writing the post.
