What I'm not good at :
-survival/horror RP
-animals RP. It's fine as long as there is a humanoid sentient being as first char and a friend animal character, but no animal protagonists ^^
What I love :
Anything fantasy : dragons, elves, magic and so on ^^

I would love to roleplay with you :D I LOVE horror RPs (Mostly SilentHill) and fantacy.
The only problem I have with responding is I like to respond in a story-like fasion and I cant spell to save my life (there are probably mistakes in this xD) and it annoys some people >.<

Sure, it's fine with me, as long as there's no horror (I don't want to ^^)
And, English is not my first language, and so, syntax/spelling problems are not too much of a problem for me (I probably do some ^^)
Do you have any specific preferences ?

I really dont have any preferences, I'm happy with just about anything. The only thing that i'm not really good with is roleplaying as a dragon (I have no idea how to be one x-x ) but if they are a pet or a way to get around I don't have a problem. Do you have any preferences?
I don't have any originally mythical characters but I can mold them if i need to :P

we should probably set the world first : do we go classic (tolkien like, elves, dwarves and orcs and stuff ^^) christian (angels and demons ?) northern (jotun, trolls and giants ?) eastern (qilin, asuras, youkais ?) traditional (magic like) or even egyptian (like egyptians gods ?) or other ?
I'm not knowledgeable on antything else to propose it ^^

I'm most familiar with the classic and traditional, maybe we could do a mix of those two to broden the range of character ability for us both, such as having a healing ability (a cap or conciquence to stop power-play and make it realistic), the power to move things with the mind, mind reading (A cap on this also), ext.
It's ok I didn't know there was a such thing as northern and eastern xD

northern is based on northern europe mythology (trolls, jotun, giants, and gods like odin, baldr, thor and such) and eastern was a mix mash : asuras are more indian, qilin is a sore of unicorn like creature from china, and youkais are mostly from shintoism, which is japanese... Although most of the eastern creatures are found on a lot of eastern countries ^^
Anyway, so, you want to do a kind of ability based RP ? fine with me, although.... I'm rather nitpicking on character design, I tell you ^^
I hate when characters are not balanced....

An ability based RP would be good :P
I compleetly understand, it gets on my nerves when i have a character load of 4 or 5 and the other person has 1 or 2. Also I believe that characters need a match (someone has a fire ability and other has water) to keep it interesting.
Could you give me an example of a character design just in case I understood something wrong?

aah, no, I meant in personnality ^^ people need to have FLAWS XD or it's a bother ^^
Example :
Name : Lya Elkan
Age : 18
Gender : Female
Ability : Deconstruction.
Upon touching something, she can destroy it. This ability only works when she knows the exact composition of the matter she touches.
Character : She has eidetic memory (it's a necessity for the proper use of the ability). She is, and has always been extremely shy and socially awkward. She has a hard time relating to people, and she uses her academical knowledge to drive people away from her. She is deadly afraid of people judging her.
She is also extremely kind, and obedient. She would never wish to harm a fly, which is why her ability scares her a bit. However, she would not hesitate to use it for a goal that seems good to her.
As you can see, she would be labelled "submissive/serving" which is why, I would build another character, (or ask you to build one =P) as dominant/controlling" to create a kind of duet in interactions ^^
