Hello there! Before you start reading this story, there are a few things I need to tell you.

This story is about this dragon who befriends the deadly wolfs and helps to start and end a war. You can give me critiques, but please, be kind. Tell me what I need to improve on, and maybe how I can do that, but don't be harsh.
Yes, you can post, but only once a chapter is put up. Also try to keep your commets on-topic, which means please talk about the story, or give me a critique. And try not to post to much. While I will try to put a link to each chapter on this post, I would like to keep this thread tidy and clean.
If you have any questions, please PM me or ping me in this thread. I will be happy to answer.

Before The Second War

The moon was as skinny and mischievous as a cat's smile, its soft light beams lighting up the green grass of the clearing below. In that clearing was a small group of dragons, hissing and laughing at another who was as green as the grass below, stained crimson from the wounds he had gathered.
As the bigger, armor-covered dragons lashed at him, he tried to lift the hedgehog-like needles planted on his back. Although he could lift them, his back was soaked in a gel-like substance, keeping his needles in their default spot. If he tried to lift them, they might break, or take all of the energy he had left and leave him open to attack. Then he would die. It's wasn't worth the risk.
He just had to wait until they left. They did have all night to torture him, but as soon as the sun came up, they would have to leave. He just needed to wait until then....
"Hey! Are ya payin' attention to us? This is important!" A mud brown dragon with silver-gray armor hissed, a grin on his snout.
"Yeah! Oh, you'll love this!" A fully crimson knight, slightly bigger and taller than the other by his side, chuckled.
"Wh-what is it?" The bleeding dragon rasped. He hadn't spoken at all tonight. He needed to save his energy, so he just listened to the knights. It was amazing how much information these dragons spilled out.
"Ya know how I've been goin' on about how I'll become king," The crimson knight started, "since I'm the king's second in command. On the final moon of dragon's death, I'm gonna make sure the king dies. From food poisonin' to havin' to rip him apart piece by piece. I will soon rule." He stood up proudly, grinning wide. The others started to cheer and laugh with joy, getting louder and louder.
As the knights were busy laughing and talking, the green dragon looked at where the sun would rise, and beamed when he saw it.
"Hey, Bloodclaw!" He coughed and rasped at the crimson knight, "Isn't it time for you to get going? The wolves do start to hunt 'round here at sunrise." The knights who accompanied him glanced at each other. A green-blue dragon, so green it made him want to puke, but so deep blue he wished he was swimming in a clear ocean at midnight, coughed, and lit up the stripes that danced around him.
He knew what the knight was doing. It was a way for the arcanics to talk to one another, but it was also a way for them to talk to other species. His stripes lit up a bright red color, and he flashed them. Although the glowing knight might've thought he couldn't understand, he was able to translate everything in his head.

Grivmic is right, the wolves do hunt at this time. We should leave him behind. The wolves will hunt him down and kill him for us.

The group snickered, but the glowing knight stayed as he was. His stripes lit up again, but this time they were blue, a blue only Grivmic and his species could understand.

Don't worry. I told this pack to protect you. You have much in store for you, I think. But stay away for the first war, only come when the second war begins.

heyoo this seems interesting but there are a few spelling and grammar mistakes and some missing words (?) as well so I just took the liberty to correct mistakes/proofread for you UwU
It's a great idea and the writing is great; just make sure not to drag it down with typos and mistakes :D

* means that I have a note later
red = correction, blue = suggestion

* remember, apostrophes, when not used for possessive nouns, are there to join two words together. For example, "they're" is a mix of they and are, and "wouldn't" is a mix of would and not. So when you use it's, that means you're (oh look, another contraction) saying "it is". When you're talking about something that belongs to "it", you just use "its". Possessive noun = nouns and pronouns that show ownership, like "sheepy's avatar" (the possessive noun would be "sheepy's")

** scars don't bleed, they're healed wounds, so I suggest you use use "wounds" or "injuries"

*** maybe specify what kind of needles, like bone, metal, wood, etc. I kinda think of sewing needles when I read "needles" (actually, I also think of acupuncture)

**** capitalization isn't necessary when you're continuing the sentence :)

***** you said "also" at the beginning of the sentence and "as well" at the end, which isn't necessary. One is enough

I thought of pine needles when you said 'needles'.

And yes, you had a few spelling mistakes, but the story was really good! You should definitely continue it!

Oh, sorry! ^u^ I haven't written in quite a while before I made this, so there are quite a few mistakes (Also, I wrote this at night, so my brain wasn't working.)

Also, it seems I didn't pay much attention, because some of the corrections you have up there I would've caught without help. I need to be focused on this when I'm writing it.

The types of needles he has are like a hedgehog or a porcupine (But what they have are called quills, aren't they?)

But next time I will make sure I'm more focused when I'm writing this story.
