Hi~
Jinxie wants me to capture a Sylesti.... well, I've caught TWO now, and she still hasn't acknowledged this.
What am I doing wrong?? @-@
...Oh! And while I was reading the other threads here, I saw mention of Reindeer pets? O.O *heart* But... is it too late, have I missed the event? x_x

You could have told me your little Quest was by event and not actually paying attention to if I caught something! *facepalm*
This is kinda like when the old man teaches you how to catch Pokemon and you already have a full team x_x
Made all the more annoying by the fact that if I *hadn't* bought those two traps, I could -almost- afford the first party expansion, and that you just dumped three more traps on me for free! ; _ ;
EDIT2: I sold a couple of the healing items I got in a satchel from the Raid last night so I can get the slot now x___X Fwah! I was hoping to hang on to them until I had enough Health for them to be usable. Well... you get that.

Yeah a lot of people have been confused by this quest. Most quests from what I have seen the simpliest solution is to just keep going. It'll happen for you.
ANd yes the reindeer were showing up while we were being attacked by the Christmas bandits before Christmas. The event is over now. But lots of people are breeding them. They are just very particularly color schemed Qitari.

I didn't have any issue triggering the capture quest itself, but since then I've used 12 traps now and every single one of them has failed.

Yeah...catching pets is NOT easy in this game.

Erm, I've caught a lot of pets acutally. In my stable? Merlene, Lumenia, Purlanna, Valatie, Ursulanna, Skystia, Herbert and Vullard were all captured via battling.
I usually am pretty poor due to buying traps a lot of the time though. . . I go through them pretty fast. >.>
