If an enemy is too far below your user level, you will not receive Advancement Points.

So even if we go back to different areas with our lower leveled pets (Say, for quests), we won't get anything?

@SilverKiri,

It is based on your User Level, not your Party.

So if you are battling enemies too far before your User Level, you will not earn Advancement Points.

@Vella
'my version shows the true colors more.'
I disagree. :<

Ignoring the previous artists coloring for a bit, since I was just using that as contrast...

I did a sampling of colors in your version and they are NOT close to the colors I chose at all. Sampling Link
On top of that, even your highlights are darker than the colors I chose. The fact of the matter is, I could not find one spot on the aurleon that had a color lighter than the colors I chose.

Sorry if it seems extreme, just trying to argue my side here. ^.^'''

'I decreased the shading and increased the highlights a bit, so Krin should be able to update those soon and hopefully it's better.'
Thanks for putting the time in. ^^ Sorry I'm increasing your workload. D:

'Sadly it's hard to tell exactly with the tiny picture; do you have the larger one by chance?'
I don't have a larger picture of the previous aurleon since I just quickly took the cached image, but you could get 1 pretty easily by asking Krin to swap the images back for 10 seconds, clear your cache, grab the picture, and swap the images again.

Please consider that this is highly unfair to anyone like myself who decided it would be fun to work on leveling up multiple teams and take their time unlocking new areas while learning to play, instead of just racing to the end of current content. I have absolutely no means of accessing level 60 enemies! My user level kept climbing while I played with more than one team of pets, but my pets are not that high, and I have not unlocked that stage of content yet.

I'm not just complaining about this for me. I mean, think about it. Do you really want to tell people there is a right and wrong way to play the game, and now they're going to earn AP way slower for not adhering to the admins opinion of how it should be played?

@Zelly,

I believe that there's a 20 level range above and below the user level. (ie I just battled a level 40 enemy at user level 60 and still got points)

I guess it's to deter farming for easy points (imagine how easy it is for someone to farm off of lvl5s with lvl60 pets, and by the time you're level 60, you probably would figure that method out).

I personally like leveling up multiple pets and I know someone else who does the same thing. But to be honest, the rate of getting points via battling is a bit slow, even if you do it constantly.

It is good to hear there is at least a range, but that range doesn't really help me all that much. The mobs I am fighting are on average half my user level. I actually had to abandon my main team kind of.. because I like doing the daily battles, which scale to your pet. These battles caused my pets to completely outlevel the last area I have unlocked.

Watching my pets breeze through, and get 1xp a battle was kind of boring.. so I went back and worked another team up to level. But it is already starting to happen again.. they get so much xp from doing the dailies that they will outlevel this zone before I finish it, I suspect. Because of this.. I am already working on yet more teams, which means I am also progressing through the content slower. I guess if I want to stop trivializing the content for my teams I need to pick one team to do dailies with and never use anyone else. >.>;
