I was hoping to start off with some sylesti, and go through a long set of breedings, to build up the stats of the sylesti... The problem? Can't breed in the same gene pool, and there doesn't appear to be many out there that are doing the same and opening them for others to breed with. Am I the only one doing this, or are others doing the same?

I thought it was as easy as breeding pure-statted adults.
Or ask some of the leaderboard people about breeding. (Though I can imagine some having their reasons not to breed, but it's not like the leaderboard people have anything better to do than hoard trophies and mythical equips lol)

I have a bunch of pure-statted pets, though one can just have a bunch of the same species of pet, level cap them to 60, allocate the points accordingly, and breed with separate pairs.

Edit:
Instead of breeding male A with females B, C, D, and E,
you breed separately...like, A with B, X with C, Y with D, etc.

This is all assuming that they all have similar high stats lol.

I am not breeding my pets for the Stats awesomeness-thing, but I have a good couple of high leveled "Mission" Pets that have only one stat boosted, if that's what you're looking for, I can have a look at my pets and see who could be useful, depending on the stat needed~ P=
(And Race/gender of course... owo")

You can just mail me if there's anything, I can have a look at my pets and dress up a list of who got what stats or just show you all my highest stats pets(Mission pets what)

I thought the offspring's stats are only modified through philters, not through level, so in my understanding, no matter what level your Sylesti were bred, the offspring would reflect the parent's level 1 base stat, the philters are cumulative through the generations though, but I think they would still increase even though you bred them with with captured (non-philtered) Sylesti, unfortunately it would produce less result than the ones that have both philtered parents.

From what I read, via a gm/mod/helpy person, the stats of the offspring are based off of the base stats of the parents. Though the offspring don't start off with the base stats that the parrents have (at whatever level) they do cary some % of it. But, this only applies with parrents over level 20, from what I've seen. And indeed, it would take a long time to pull off, it would help minimize the chance of getting destroyed on dungeon bosses.
Also, I've sectioned off my lupora into breeding groups, do to the fact that it appears that if any parent set has relatives, anywhere in their liniage, they can't mate... found this out, with my zolnixi, while trying to get 1 with as many see-able trates as possible. @.@

Ah... But I suppose the bonus from the level isn't much is it? I have 2 breeding pair both level 60, their babies are un-philtered... But the stats increase are not much different...

Maybe you could try mating them with their philtered and high leveled grandparents? I don't think the breeding system restricts third generations mating with its first.

I actually tried to do this kind of stats breeding before, but it was costly and I didn't see much change on the offspring's stats... Many pursue artistic breeding project, but you're a bit difficult because not many would do this! But I wish you luck! OuO

Difficult AND stubborn!
I don't quit something I have set my mind to. It may take me a long time to pull off a Sylesti that has over 900 for 1 stat, at level 60, but it won't stop me from trying. ^_^

@Oogbar,
Okay, I'm moving here for the discussion! I hope that's okay for you! OuO

Apparently, I have never encounter any 4-stars on the dungeon (unless they're mini bosses of course), but I have encounter a few on raids with level 60 pets, but the raids were the 4 staged (the Tyrielle and Arch Mage raids). Do you have any places where you encounter them the most? So I'll make sure to keep this pair of eyes peeled for them.

If you desire more Lupes, I can always send your ways some "fails" from my Breeding pairs?
So you have "fresh new Lupes" to breed with?
I wouldn't mind much, as I have a couple of kids I sometime don't know what to do with and I wouldn't mind giving them of course, not going to make you pay for them~ XD

But I need to know now, as most are already priced "for sale"~
(Preferably MAIL me if interested, as I might forget to check this o.e")
