I think that there should be a way for a thread author to go in and delete post on there own thread to get rid of old material and also if someone post something more than once by accident then the post author can get rid of it i think that would be very helpful especially for Role Players like myself as well as allowing a co-author who can go in and do the same in case the author isn't able to

This is something that we don't want to allow because it can lead to issues. The most prominent issue I can think of is people deleting bids on their auction threads if they don't like the bid or don't like the player.

This can also carry over into regular threads under the same situation as well.
