I realoaded the page and it asked me are you sure and then it just kicked me out! Idk what happened.

Did you reload with F5? Doing so may have caused the command prompt to resubmit a form post (common amongst all browsers).
If so, and if that confirm was say, you exiting the zone, it would have resubmitted the 'Exit Zone'. And if you exit the zone while in the Egg Hunt, you will forfeit the hunt.

I was on my tablet as I reloaded the page so I'm not sure what happened all I know is that I got stuck reloaded and kicked out. But I didn't click exit zone.

Yea, then that's probably what happened. Using the Exit Zone button is actually a submit button with a form. When you do that, browsers remember and if you hit F5 or Refresh, it will ask if you want to re-submit the form. So clicking yes in your case would have again parsed the 'Exit Zone' function.
If the future if that happens (the pop up asking to reconfirm), just hit Cancel and instead just click on the URL and hit Enter. That will reload the page without refreshing it.
