This is an offshoot program of the Cloudsprite Research and Registry Lab, designed to give unneeded cloudsprites loving homes, rather than death.

Magic: open
Miracle of Creation (250k) - Lets you design and order a custom cloudsprite. Order will be delivered as a crystal, and grow normally. Compatible with blue magic and timeskips. Stock: 1/1

Greater Timeskip (50k) - When used on a cloudsprite of any age, it will immediately age to its next stage. For example, a crystal will become a baby, or a baby will become an adult. May only be used once in a cloudsprite's life. Stock: 5/5

Lesser Timeskip (20k) - When used on a cloudsprite of any age, it will hasten its growth by one day. For example, a crystal with 3 days remaining until it hatches will have 2 days remaining after use. Stock: 5/5

Greater Blue Magic (100k) - Can be used on a cloudsprite crystal to give it a 75% chance of hatching with a mutation. Can only be used once per crystal, will not stack with any other blue magic. It may have a side effect of slowing growth by 1-2 days. (Random.org used - 1,2,3 = mutation, 4 = no mutation) Stock: 1/1

Lesser Blue Magic (50k) - Can be used on a cloudsprite crystal to give it a 50% chance of hatching with a mutation. Can only be used once per crystal, will not stack with any other blue magic. It may have a side effect of slowing growth for 1-2 days. (Random.org used - 1,2 = mutation, 3,4 = no mutation) Stock: 2/2

You see an elderly man off to the side standing in a patch of verdant grass, looking up into the branches of a massive tree. Wondering what he is doing, you walk over, and he smiles companionably when you inquire. "Hello, friend. I am seeing my friends off, to make sure that they have arrived home safely."

You shake your head, wondering at the old man, and bid him farewell.

"Hello, friend!" A young man in a grey lab coat flags you down, flipping his dark ponytail over his shoulder as you approach.

"As part of our latest research, we're auctioning crystals to those rare few who possess magic *cough*and money*cough*, to see what will happen when fed a human's magic, rather than a cloudsprites'. Would you like to take home a new companion?"

Nursery

As you continue walking around the small bazaar-looking area, you notice several rows of padded boxes, a few of which contain exactly one glowing cloudsprite crystal. A few boxes away, another young man is bent over a dull crystal, with two worried-looking fluffy creatures sitting nearby. You assume the fluffy animals are cloudsprites, but what is the young man doing? Curious, you decide to investigate.

A) If you are NOT in possession of a cloudsprite crystal:
You try to see what the man is doing, but the two cloudsprites block your way. For such small, fluffy creatures, they can certainly be quite scary...

B) If you ARE in possession of a cloudsprite crystal:
You peer at the dull crystal from afar, with your own brightly glowing crystal tucked in your bag. The two cloudsprites seem to notice your crystal, and nudge you over to the downcast man tending the dull crystal. He stands up as he hears your approach, immediately noticing your crystal. Making a rather obvious effort to cheer up, he says,

"So you're the newest crystal's owner, eh? Keep it with you at all times, got that? It should start cracking within the next day, if it's around you enough, and within 3-4 days, it'll be born. Now, that's going to be the difficult part, but come back when that happens, okay?"

"If your crystal's already hatched, keep the baby close to you, and it should be fully grown within a week." (Note that you may edit this for lore purposes, just let me know.)
