Whenever I fight something with 5 stars I always end up using tons of elixirs and even revival draughts, costing much more than the rewards of the fight, and I lose half the time anyway. Could my strategy & party be set up better, or is this the norm for those kinds of fights?

as a strategy, you should try to take out the opponent with the highest amount of stars first.
boss fights (for me) tends to be tedious and time consuming, i use potions whenever my pets health drops below 75% .
your pets seem like you could of distributed their stats better, also, their armour seems a bit too low-level for them. this is a good guide for stat distribution.

I seem to keep getting killed by Ceranth (spelling) and its henchmen.
Ookami is at level 16 while Tenny is level 12. I target my efforts on Ceranth but somehow Ookami gets hit with all sorts of stuff like "Haunted" and stuff while Tenny is pretty much not affected.

My only other option is to go to the Festival Garden and fight some beasts until my pets level up some more.
I guess I will have to focus more on intelligence for Tenny.

I am patiently waiting for my eggs to hatch so eventually I can get another pet on my team....


Edited: Forget the Festival Explore thing. That place is HARD!!!

that might be because you might have ookami as the first pet in your party. the first pet in your party is the one the baddies are the most likely to go after, so you need them to be a tank pet, meaning that they specialize in magic&physical resistance, as well as health. try to get a third pet slot and a third pet asap.

Ah..I see. I was curious as to what the term "Tank" meant. Now I know.

Well, I do have a couple of eggs in the hatchery so while they hatch and mature I can fight in Trollsblight to get more gold and mana. Then when the hatchlings can be in the part I will get another slot.

But that takes quite awhile and I do want to get on with the game story so...could I take you up on your offer? I don't have much to give in return though.

certianly. go ahead and choose a pet. (I have way too many anyways, but some are just so pretty i dont want to release)
I'd reccomend not choosing any of the re-generatable pets since im saving them for somthing special.
