Due to the new Zolnixi revamp, some of the genes/mutations got mixed up since they reorganized both in addition to the new line art. To not upset players, they let you "regen" (which means regenerate) the pet to try to fix the pet as it was before. You get a certain number of "gene points" that you can disperse for these genes/mutations which is similar to how you made your first pet when you joined this site. It's almost like getting a brand new pet in some ways.

Exactly as Cat said :) the amount of points you get to spend depends on how much the zolnixi had before the regen 2 per vis and 1 per carry you don't get to chose the colors tho

Oh okay, so how long will this regen thingo last?
And if the pet had not traits that were visible, but still had some, would that still count?

the last time there was the regen thing with the sylvorpas revamp, the admin Krin said there was no deadline to when the regen will end. Not in the foreseeable future anyway.

The system counts all traits, whether they are visible or carried, so yes, those will still count.

Oh cool as, is there a set price for how many regen points a zolnixi has?
I've recently been seeing 12 regen pointers go for over 100k, but what about the ones with like 3 or 8?

There is no set price for a regen zolnixi, regardless of points; or for any pets for that matter.

Price has been, and should always be, determined by the players. It's a matter of how much the owner of the pet thinks they are worth, and how much the buyer is willing to pay to obtain said pets.

So no, I have no idea how much a nixi with 3 or 8 points should be worth. =P
