Since I'm no illustrator and I specialize in graphic design I was wondering if people would be interested in graphic design services. This could include:
- Thread banners.
- Bullet points (ex: The hearts I use in my threads).
- Signatures (I know Sylestia doesn't have a signature feature, but maybe this could be for off-site things?).
- Backgrounds (Again, I know this has nothing to do with Sylestia but is something I'm able to do).
- Thread advertisement banners (ex: Banners you could submit to The Sylestia Times advertisement spotlights).
- I can help organize and set-up your thread so that it is easy to follow and clear like my threads.
- Anything to do with stylizing and organizing your thread to create pretty Sylestia forums!
I'm probably missing a lot of other things that people might request, but those would be the main things I think people would ask for. I wouldn't be doing this for free, however. It can be a lot of work to create 10-50 banners for a single thread, depending on what the person is doing.
I don't see anyone else doing this, just illustration work... so I'd like to know who would be interested if such a service was offered!

Credentials:
- 3/4 years in college for a bachelors of graphic design.
- Highly skilled/experienced in using Adobe software (photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver, after effects, indesign).
- Experienced in using GIMP and some other free software.
- Minimal experience in using Autodesk Maya and DesCAD/AutoCAD.
- I love typography/fonts cause I'm cool like that. B)

If anyone has suggestions on pricing please feel free to suggest it!

Thank you. However I can't make them free because as I stated in the first post: it takes work and time to make things like that. Of course it depends on how much and how big the images are but it isn't something you can do in 10 minutes if you want it to look good. o:

I understand! I'm afraid that although I'm instrested, I can't afford it. I only have 2k right now, and jugding by how long this takes and how good it is, it'll be something between 10k to 100k. But, hey, at least I'm intrested in it, and that's what you wanted to know, right?( :p ) But, I understand. ^u^

While I don't deny it's probably worth 100k for some stuff, 100k is probably overkill for one banner or one piece. x:

100K is actually a lot more than what I was thinking for a set of banners. I am taking into consideration the actual value the graphics would have compared to pets for example. I don't have exact prices in mind, or how I would price.

I was thinking of possibly doing 2 separate types of "jobs". I could create templates and elements that the person requesting the graphic could choose from (ex: a selection of fonts, shapes, backgrounds, colours) all pre-set and maybe come out with new ones every month or limited time graphics. Then I could also do 100% custom requests which would be more costly as I'd be creating from scratch and not just putting together different elements.

Not sure yet about anything, it really depends on how many people give feedback here. ^^'

I like the idea of relatively pre-made stuff and custom requests. o: (similar to how my custom shop with Willow goes aha)

While I think that feedback might be a bit small, since the art thread tends to be slow, I think there'd be people who would like graphics at reasonable prices. Especially if they see it in application, like using your thread as an example. (like how other sites have layouts themes, and people have previews of the themes in use)

I think that graphics would probably do well for people with organized threads that would like to make them more visually appealing. The Sylestian Mall wouldn't be the first to have a logo request. o:
