I don't know if anyone else is having this problem or if I just missed it someplace, by my pet has been stuck at lv. 60 for, seemingly, a long time. i went to go check out his experience and...

That's not 100%, that's 600% full. I'm not having this problem with any of my other pets so I'm wondering if it's because I'm at level 60? But that wouldn't make any sense because I thought we grew when one of the members in our party grew.
Any help would be appreciated.

There's currently a level cap at level 60. You will be able to level your pets up higher once new regions are released.

So my question is, will that extra XP carry over once the level cap is higher? Figured I'd ask so we're not wasting XP on capped pets that should be spent on lower-level pets :3

Experience will be reset to 0 of Level 60 when the cap is raised. All experienced removed will be added to the pet's Total Experience for Leaderboard progress.

The reason for this is that the level caps are put in placed to make new content challenging when it comes out. Many, many, many pets would have already earned enough experience to jet up to the new level cap completely defeating the purpose of the level cap.

So it may seem like wasted time, but it's for the best. It keeps new content fun and challenging instead of trivial.

What about the people that already have pets that are way beyond level 60?
They get an adventage in the game, they can clear the dungeon faster and can make more money more easy that way. Or can those pets beyond level 60 not be used in the party of the people owning these pets?

I don't really understand what your question is. Could you be more specific?

Level 60 is the maximum level. There aren't any pets beyond Level 60 at this time.

In that case my question is already mostly answerd.

I was wondering if there where people with pets who have higher levels (than 60) and how this game deals with those pets.

Do the pets with higher levels (above 60) still get to fight in parties? or are they not able to fight in parties? etc.
Because if the people who own a pet that is above level 60 can still use that pet they can clear the dungeon in teh second district faster then the players who cant go beyond 60.

But if you say there are barely any pets above that level than this really doesn't matter all that much anymore.

I dont have a pet higher than 60 but I was just wondering about the older players who might have some higher level pets.

There are no pets above Level 60; it's the current Level cap.
