I was in a dungeon and used a scanner on an uncommon sylesti. It had superior for type and I just wanted to know what that means/how that comes into play. Does it mean the sylesti is naturally stronger or what? Any help would be truly appreciated!
Thanks and have a great day!

Thank you for the help. I have one more question though...
Is there a difference between caught sylestis and generated ones? Is there like a guaranteed type for generator ones? If so, what is it?
I'm just curious if wild caught sylesti are stronger or generated ones.
Thanks again!

The difference between tamed and generated are mainly in the stats. Generated pets have higher base stats than wild ones on the most part (from highest to lowest: mystical/enhanced > regular > wild ).
But the "type" you're talking about for pets, I see it more as AI difficulties that are set for enemies. Once you have the pet as your own, they don't transfer any bonuses in stats (the difference between a tamed lvl20 one-star pet and a tamed lvl20 three-star pet is negligible once you catch them, otherwise in battle, one is easier to defeat compared to another).
I vaguely remember that the number of stars can have an effect on the maximum base mana the pet has. The 4star wild pets have the highest max mana for wild pets (120 I think?).
