I was wondering, how many GP will the egg have if I purchase an egg for 1,750 scales in the scale shop? I don't want to pay so much just to be disappointed, so I thought I'd ask anyone who might have tried this before.

the eggs from the scale shop are not fabled. if they were, they would look like the fabled pet's egg. ive been told that higher prices mean more gp, i think theres a thread about that somewhere. (i havnt bought any eggs yet since im doing a thing with dyes, so i speak from seccond hand knowledge)

all the eggs from the scale shop can be any non-fabled species. Fabled pets have unique eggs. Eg lighira eggs have fur around them, aeridini eggs are flowers, etc.


The general rule is the more scales it cost, the more traits the pet is likely to have.

There's a relatively old thread where some users posted the pet they bought from the scale shop, including the amount of scales it cost, and the amount of traits it has. I don't think the admins change the scale to traits ratio, so it should still be accurate. But I haven't bought anything from the scale shop for a really long time, so i'm not sure. =/
