Hi, are the little shield things called "badges" at the top right on any Arena page the number of "arena marks" one has? In other words, are badges and marks the same thing?

I won a purse that, when opened, said it contained 11 arena marks, but when I looked at the badges, the number was still the same as before--48.

This is puzzling.

I believe marks and badges are the same thing.

Flute, do you have any idea why I had 48 badges before I opened the arena purse, and after I opened it, I still had 48, even though the popup said the purse contained 11 marks? I thought maybe the marks, like Saerielle badges, would appear in my Inventory and I'd have to "Use Item" to make them show up in the tally. But nothing showed up in my Inventory.

Ethernia Badges: earned from Ethernia tasks, can be used to buy puffadore hatchlings from the puff shop

Arena Marks: earned from arena matches (and their satchels), can be used to buy stuff from arena shop and ny'vene hatchlings

Oh! Thanx. With that explanation, I found the Marks. They're in tiny writing above the words Arena Shop, in the Arena Shop.

I know you can also use Badges to buy stuff from Ethernia's Armory, but they only seem to have one kind of potion and one kind of Elixir.
