no one is completely sure on the stat amount, but they should be fairly high stats, which means fairly high level. Focused stats for level 40+ pets should probably cover it (meaning all in one stat). Might mean switching your party a couple of times. But worth the trouble in the end.

There is confirmation that the stat needed needs to be at least 200+ to activate seals. I know this because my tank was sitting at 214 when I ran this quest line, and I was assured by Krin that his stats were high enough (as he helped me figure out what I was doing wrong).

I beat him finally yesterday or the day before. The only one I guess I didn't unlock was Perception. Now to beat the guy in the dungeon...
