Hello, so I'm still somewhat new here and I just had a quick question on tamed sylestis. c:
Can/do they carry genes/mutations other than the ones they show already?
For example, this guy: https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=1341913
Does he only have Regalia of Hermes or can he be carrying something?
And is it worth it to get tamed sylestis tested?
I appreciate any and all answers ^^

Yep, you're right! :)
They can have a trait behind the genes/mutations they already show.
We call them "hidden" genes/mutations. (Basically carried, behind the visible gene/mutation.)
To figure out if he has something hidden, or carried behind Hermes, you should get him tested. It's worth it to get him tested if he's being bred off to others (so the other breeders know!), or if you're breeding certain pets (so you know what you're working with). :)
(others like to keep it a surprise aha)
It's a general thing for people to test pets when its important to breeding (with a certain breeding goal in mind, you want to be accurate and know where carries are; especially when they don't show anything and there's possibly a carry, which you won't know unless you test).
For tamed pets, it doesn't hurt to test em. :) You never know if its just his Regalia that's there or if he has something more.
