Suggestion 1: Being able to delete certain posts if you are the owner of that thread
Suggestion 2: Like private roleplaying with only certain people and don't want anyone else viewing the thread? Well how about being able to open the thread to certain users, so no one else peeks at their thread?
Suggestion 3: as well as locking the thread for only some users to see, what about un locking them also?
(Only if suggestion 2 happens)

I can't really see how these would be helpful, but I can see a lot of ways they can negatively affect Sylestia.

Suggestion 1: You can edit your own posts, so the only point in deleting a post would be deleting someone else's, which has a lot of potential for fighting and abuse. Say person bids on an item and the person selling does not like who bid and just deletes the post so they don't have to sell to them. Or changes their mind about wanting to sell the item because they aren't getting as much as they wanted for it so they delete all the bids and claim the auction expired without bid so they keep the item. This would cause a lot of head aches for Krin and Fai, not to mention all the fighting that it could start.

Suggestion 2: This seems very exclusionary. Sylestia is great because of it's community and having a feature that prevents players from getting involved in the events, even if they are player made, is not going to promote community cohesion, but rather elitist and exclusionary behavior.

So, for these reasons, I cannot support this suggestion.
