Welcome to the world of Sylestia. A world filled with adventure! It is a land where warriors are born and legends are made. You can take on several paths in your life, even crossing paths if you wish. How will you live your life? Do you want to become rich? How about being a Breeder? Or even a hero? It is up to you, how your life will go Or even end.

List of Classes:
Archer - An expert with the use of a bow and arrows.
Sorcerer - A user of powerful magic. Can use all sorts of types of magic, but is not very good with other means of fighting.
Mage - A user of magic. They tend to focus on one, or few types of magic at a time, so they tend to be weaker in other areas of magic. (When choosing this option, you must choose which type your character is strongest with, like Fire. This means they are not very good with water spells or earthen magic.)
Warrior - Great with almost any weapon. Although not very good with magic, they can equip them and use them to some extent.
Barbarian - A fighter who prefers more savage battles than others. They are terrible at magic and when they attempt it, tend to hurt themselves more than anything. They are exceptional with swords, axes, and maces, however.
Healer - A person with the magic touch of healing. Although they arent very strong, their magical capability and uses of curses can help them in a pinch.
Priest - They are more powerful than an average healer and can expel curses with ease. The only problem is that they arent at all good with fighting and refuse to lay curses, since they seek to heal those who suffer from them.
*Snatcher - An odd sort of being who can possess people and even steal their souls. Many believe it to be a type of magic, but no one knows for sure. They arent good in battle on their own, but with their ability to snatch bodies they can be trouble to deal with, since when they take control of a person, they can keep controlling them till they die. When that happens they can just hop into another person.
Thief - Sneaky and quick with their hands, thieves are hard to catch. However, they arent good in battles with two, or more people involved. Cant handle heavy weapons very well, or armor. (How can you sneak when weighed down with a bunch of metal?)
Assassin - Those who are exceptional with sneaky kills, but not so good in hand-to-hand combat. Hard to detect, they can easily escape bad situations. However, they have trouble with larger weaponry and armor.
Necromancer - A sorcerer who raises the dead. They can also use other ways of magic, but are unable to fully master them. They are terrible with hand-to-hand combat.
Jobs:
Mercenary - A warrior for hire. Nuff said.
Breeder - A person who likes to breed Sylestis. Either for traits, or stats.
Lord - A person of wealth. Not an actual job, but these classy people dont need a job, now do they? Why bother when they got servants for that nonsense?
Lady - Same as Lord.
Chef - A person who is good at making good food.
Knight - In service of the King and Queen. They strive to protect the land and maintain peace.
Blacksmith - Experts at making weapons.
Alchemist - A person who is great at making potions for all sorts of things.
Scholar - A wise person who has a lot of knowledge on things.
Wanderer - A person who travels around the lands.
Botanist - A person who studies plants and wildlife.

Elements:
Light - A pure element. Strong against Dark.
Dark - A shadowy element. Weak against Light.
Fire - The burning element. Weak to water, but strong against earth.
Water - Weak to Earth, but strong against Fire.
Air - Weak to Earth.
Earth - Strong against Air, but weak to Fire.
Heart - The element of love. There is no weakness, or strength in this power, but it is often laughed upon Obvious reasons.
*Angel - The purest of the elements. Strong against Demon and Dark elements. Weak against Earth.
*Demon - The most vile of the elements. Weak to Angel and Light.
*Enigma - An odd element that is difficult to master, since it constantly changes. Those who tend to master this element often fall into insanity, thus it is not practiced.
How to Play:
When you send your form, you will go through a prologue in the mail. Basically it gets you ready and teaches you the basics. Certain things within the game will happen in the mail, like if you go to a master to train yourself or if you take on a job. Some events will also take place on the forum itself. Mostly however it will be in the specifically labeled chatroom. A lot of things are still under construction, but Im working hard on it. =3 So be patient please~
Your stats are made depending on your level and what you choose to be. These can all be raised during gameplay.
Events will have a dungeons and dragons feel to it. Like you have to roll dice to do actions and see if they work. Your stats will either increase your chances, or decrease them.
If you have any questions just ask me anytime! ^u^ I will be playing alongside everyone, but will not partake in certain events, due to me overlooking the game and making sure things run smoothly. Also, since I am the one who rolls the dice for everyone. =3
Player to player battles can also occur. Just please dont be a jerk and pick on a newbie if you are of higher stature. I mean, thatd just be slaughter! |
