Hi guys! I have a question.

I'm currently working on my first breeding project (Thestral Unicorn), and I was wondering about breeding colors. Two of my Qitaris have a body color that's really close to pure black (000000 aka r:0 b:0 g:0) and was wondering how to breed down to black. Is it possible to do it even if I can't find a pure black Qitari (without modding it) by just breeding down the same way I would to remove genes/muts? Or is there a different way to go about getting the specific colors?

Thanks in advance to anyone who comments.

I have generally found that when breeding two pets together the lighter of the two shades is the one that transfers. tho that may just be my bad luck
For shades like Pure Black and White, I generally dye the final outcome with greater dyes, esp if the colours are not exactly what I like. I NEVER use lesser dyes t=for those two shades as I have never had an instance where lesser has liked Black or white.

Sorry that I cannot be more helpful with the breeding aspect of the question. GL with your project :)

Hey, you did what you could, which is more than you think. :) Where can I find greater dyes and how much do they normally cost? I only found the lesser ones in the scale shop.

Thanks again for the answer and the tip about the dyes. I really appreciate it the help.

greater dyes can be bought in the Diamond store, or on the market, or if you are lucky can be gained through spins on the wheel during festivals. Another way to get them would be to say set up a thread in the sales forum saying you want to trade/buy greater dyes for something else. Dyes in general are really good to hold onto.

In the diamond store they are about 150 diamonds, but if you are going to buy them I would wait for a sale, (which there should be one during the Valentines festival which starts the 6th Feb) to get them cos I think dyes are one of the things that go down in price, tho don't quote me on that one.

Well this is gonna take a while... -_-

Whyd it have to be diamonds. Do you by chance know how much gold gets you a diamond?

at the moment the gold to diamond ratio is about 2.5k:1d

but as I said, I reckon the best option is to either wait for the Valentines fest and try get one then, or set up a thread offering things in your inventory for them, I am not really sure what would sell. maybe essences for dyes esp the revamp pet essences :D

Unfortunately I dont have any essences. I'm apparently not lucky enough to get any from battles. XP
