Second Chance is Closed
Sorry guys, but alot of stuff came up and I can no longer run Second Chance. If any of you wish to restart it you have my permission to do so.
Since Second Chance is gaining members and growing in popularity, I thought it was time to set up a chat for us so that we might keep things in better order.
For those that are just reading this:
The Second Chance is a group dedicated to improving the sylestis being sold insanely cheap just because of their colors even though they have great traits. We obtain these pets either through purchasing them off the search or by people donating them to us. Once we have them, a member will hold and dye them so that they are appealing before setting them up for adoption so they may find a new home.
Our volunteers jobs vary from person to person depending on what someone is able to do:
Manager: Keeps track of the sale and adoption thread in the Pet Auctions, helps vary out pets and dyes that come in, answers general questions. ect.
General Helper: Does various tasks to help rehome pets, from keeping them, to dying them, to breeding wheels to bring in income and dyes. Basically does a bit of everything.
Breeder: Breeds Wheel pets to sell and trade so that more dyes might be obtained.
Collector: Collects dyes and rations them out to those that need them to recolor refugee pets.
Adoptionist: Helps out by holding Refugee pets and dying them so the can be adopted out.
To volunteer is easy, simply message here, at our sales thread, or private message myself and let us know what you can do to help out.

This post will be for holding all the refugees each member has, along with which ones are in 'limbo' for a member to grab if they wish to try dying it.
As for assigning refugees, I will try to keep things as even as possible. If you want to try your hand at a pet another volunteer is holding, simply message and ask them. Note there isn't a timeline on dying pets, I know it can take weeks to obtain enough dyes to make a pet look nice.

Do you have an idea to help increase income of dyes? Or want opinion on a dye job before you dye the pet? I will do my best to keep track of everything here.
Currently we only have two methods of dye income: Our Second Chance Trade Center trading PB wheel pets and other very nice pets for gold to buy dyes or dyes directly and collecting them ourselves.

Alright, pinging you guys so you may bookmark this. This is to help us process everything so that we can be a bit more organized and be able to chat together rather through messaging.

As for business, what would you guys think about a item trade thread to help obtain pet dyes?

May I please join as a breeder? I'm trying to get a 5th tab, but that won't me long. In the meantime, I can release some for room and also move some around for space.

That sounds like a good idea. I don't have many items at the moment, but I can try to get some. It always helps to have an extra way to get dyes, since it does take some time with nurturing.

Thing is, I'm not very good a item valuing. It's why I haven't set one up myself yet. I didn't know if either of you would be able or willing to set up such a thread to attract people to trade

An item thread would be a good idea, I know that some players have no use for lesser dyes, so they might be wiling to donate/sell.
