To be perfectly frank, Dying Carousel is better off being your "Fighter" than your "Tank". Spring in Paris has much better base stats to take a beating- significantly higher HP and Agility, which are the Tank stats. Dying Carousel has one point better Strength... but is the obvious weak point of your team. Definitely lower stats, but that comes of breeding from Tamed stock if you don't use Philters.

As far as Proficiencies go, not sure exactly what elements you want to use. I personally go Dark/Air/Light, but you might want to go Light/Air/Fire, or even Earth/Water/Fire, I'm not sure what you're aiming for. Earth, Water, Light, and Dark are decent for Tanks, Air and Water are good for Fighters, and literally any of the Intelligence Proficiencies are usable for Mages, it just depends on what effect you want from it (damage over time, using the high damage to extract more heals, or hitting multiple targets for slightly less damage).

In any case, I would raise them to at least Lv. 50 and get the Legendary Rough gear, which goes for fairly cheap on the Broker, or just collect them from Lv. 50 Mission Satchels, if you don't already have them. If you can grind the Dungeon of the Forsaken for the Mythic Gear, I would suggest you do that. It really helps.

Spring in Paris- Illusionist Gear (+Intelligence, +Agility)
Dying Carousel- Myrmidon Gear (+Strength, +Dexterity)
Rag Doll- Evoker Gear (+Intelligence, +Dexterity)

You might want to go a completely different direction, and that's fine. Just my suggestion. :3

Is Spring In Paris has better tank strengths wouldn't it be logical for me to go Earth? He'd get the aggro due to taunt and he would be fairly strong.I mean does 1 point of strength REALLY make a difference?

If you're going to go for an Earth Tank, use Assassin, which boosts Strength and Agility. When you finally get Mythics, if you don't have any already, you'll want Natureguard for your tank, Primalist for your fighter, and Archon for your mage.
