There is a world called Enchantra. It is a vast place full of adventure and many mythical races. There are quests and adventures to be had in plenty. Adventuring is often how a child of any race decides what they want to do with their lives, however before they can come of age and start adventuring they must graduate from ESYA. Enchantra's School for Young Adventurers. There they will learn the skills they need to survive.

Nature studies (Animal taming and plant identification)
foraging and hunting (This includes cooking, sewing, tracking, and some degree of nature studies)- Teacher- Garth- Galaxea

Combat (Includes hand to hand and general weaponry. Some specialty training is included in electives)

(Students may have at least two electives)

Wrestling (Garth is co-coach of which. Any teacher can be a coach or co coach of any sport, as they are not considered classes)

(Note there are also elemental races tied to certain elements. Mages posses the abilities of that element and there are several among each race at any given time. Sages are the living representatives of their respective elements and there is only one for each element at a time. Sages are immortal and extremely difficult to destroy. If you wish to be a sage just ask first come first served. Students and teachers can be any of the above races or a darker race pretending to be one of the above races, or a halfbreed if you so choose. Although I would prefer the teachers to be of the light races for the time being, but if you come up with a really good character I will let you have the spot.)

1 Respect the Sylestia forum rules
2 Please keep gory scenes or intense language down to a minimum. I would prefer no vulgar language at all as there are likely children on this site. As for the gory issue keep in mind that this RPG's host (Me) has a weak stomach and is rather squemish. (This mostly applies to viviblixes if you must use them.)
3 Respect each other
4 If you are wanting to try to mind control someone else's character please ask their permission first.

You can be either a student or teacher or have a character of each. Any teaching positions not claimed by the start time will be made up by me and used as general property of the RPers. (Means anyone can use them). If someone wishes to join at a later date with an original teacher all they have to do is post here and we will retire the general use teacher. Students of course are welcome at any time. Teachers can teach at max two main subjects and one elective.

Here is mine
Name-Garth Forge
Gender-Male
Race-Dwarf
Age-Approximately 999 soon to be 1000
Classes-History, Foraging and Hunting, Blacksmithing.
Appearance: About 3'6 ft tall. He has short medium brown hair with a thick but short beard. He has crystal sapphire blue eyes and fair skin. While at the school he wears a green sweater with beige pants, brown shoes and a pair of black gloves.
Personality-He is gruff natured and serious at first glance. He is somewhat standoffish about his personal life. However he does have a since of fun and wonder that will come out from time to time. While calmer than other dwarves he can still be stubborn and feisty. He does not give his full trust easily, but once earned will be a loyal friend for life. He is kind hearted and a bit of a mother hen when it comes to those who need his help. While he does not laugh in front of others very often he does have a sense of humor. He is more soft spoken than most of his race.
Skills- Like most dwarves he is a master craftsman and a talented cook. He is skilled in tracking and living off the land. He is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to combat, especially with his weapon of choice, his blacksmiths hammer. Like most of his race he is fairly talented at wrestling and a decent horseback rider when it comes to dwarven ponies. He is an extremely gifted Blacksmith and has some skill in mining and masonry.
Summer occupation-Blacksmith
Weaknesses: A fear of both heights and dragons.
Secrets- He is also the Lord of the dwarven Anvil clan (Kind of a bunch of outcasts compared to the other dwarf clans) This secret is well known to the other staff members. Unknown to anyone outside of his people he is also the Sage of Earth and has a pair of prosthetic hands that due to his abilities as a sage he can control just like real hands. He wears a pair of lifelike rubber gloves over the metal prosthetics and a pair of cloth gloves over that due to the fact that the rubber gloves do not feel lifelike. He is also half elf. (Reason he gets along with his clan of outcasts so to speak.) He is the halfbreed son of the dwarf woman Persephone and the Elf Lord Roland. His mother passed away when he was just a few hours old and his father disappeared in battle before he was born. He has two elder half brothers. One on each side. His elven kin know nothing about Garth (and he would like to keep it that way.) He is the only dwarf with blue eyes, thankfully few people notice this or even think much about it. He is grateful not to have ended up with pointed ears (Yet! Muahahahaha) While having lived over several generations of his own people he has not yet come of age in elven terms. So he would be considered and elder in dwarf years and almost an adult in elven years. He is the inventor of a super alloy called starsilver a combination of irriduim, Titianium, and Platinum forged with special plant oils, that is very light, but even stronger than truesilver. Its resistant to magic, but due to that quality cannot be forged with magical abilities either. His elder Dwarven brother is also still alive and a Lord of a different clan. While Darbin claims to have been gifted immortality by a magical aftifact, there are suspicions about the use of dark magic. (Little dwarf lots of big secrets teehehehe.)
(Out of all the characters I have ever created Garth remains my favorite so you may be seeing him in other threads although I do make some minor changes to make him fit into other peoples RPGs however. Such as his status as a Dwarf Lord, or his age, among other things.
