So I used a lesser restore potion on my Xelfi and it gave it 10 manna and 200 health. Then I used my health potion to give it another 200 health only it didn't instead it removed the manna and health of Xelfi including the 17 manna she had from battle. It didn't add any health either, but my lesser restore potion is showing that 1 was used and the health potion stack showed the same.

Staff answers only. I won't read any others. Asked nicely twice before in my threads. Am done being nice. Don't post unless you're staff.

@Nataku,

A great thing about Sylestia is its community. There are tons of people on here that know a lot about the game and can help in many situations. We also rely on these users to answer simple questions that have been answered many times before - as it saves us time. Additionally, other users may be having the same problem as you and can offer more information.

So demanding that only admins can answer your post is silly and not a very good idea.

To address your issue, we do not track consumable usage so there isn't much that I can do.

However, Mana decays over time when not in a battle. If you used the Restore Potion right before a tick (it occurs every 3 minutes), then that Mana would have decayed right after.

I asked because the last few threads I didn't get any useful advice from the people and only ended up repeating the same thing over and over that it's not what they said because that wasn't possible.

As for my problem I used the restore potion and 2 seconds later the health potion so it hadn't gone bad yet far as your post tells me.

Well, the tick runs every 3 minutes. Not 3 minutes from when you use a potion.

So like I said, it's possible that you used your potion at say... 9:49:59. At 9:50:00, the tick ran, decaying the pets mana. So when you used the second at 9:50:01, it would have looked like its mana disappeared.

As far as the Health not appearing, I'm not really sure. As I said, we don't log consumable usage so I can't really look anything up.

The only thing I can say is to keep an eye open for it to happen in the future and if it does, try to report as much information as possible so that I can search the code and see if something's wrong.

If you'd like, I can send you a Health potion to replace the one you used. If so, let me know which exact potion you used.

Seems like an odd way to work manna. That would mean it's useless to buy the mana restore potions since you can't be sure you'll have it at your disposal long enough to attack with. It might be useful to consider a way of coding it so that if you use manna potion it doesn't run out the second you use it on the pet.

It is something we've discussed and may introduce when Crafting becomes available.
