Hey guys, so I was thinking...how about being able to test breed two pets of the same gender?

yes I know it sounds weird and stuff, but...how many times have you guys been so curious about how two pets would look if bred together, but because they are the same gender...you got to risk using that gender swap or not.

I just think this option to check out the possibility of two pets of the same gender in a test breed may save a couple of genderswappers and it could probably save a few people's stash of diamonds/gold and philters as well.

And no, you obviously will not be able to actually breed them at all, this is only to see if the two pets would breed together well or not. (so no 'bypassing' to breed two of the same gender pets)

-----------------------
Second Generator idea:

You know what? Essences are sometimes hard to come by if you don't wanna buy them, or go nurturing exhaustingly for a pet to drop one...

So how about this, maybe in a separate generator or something, we can create our own pets of as many vis or carries as possible, plug two of them into the generator, and play around and see what the offsprings would look like?

we can even use 'hidden' genes as well to check it out...etc.

This is like those custom project pets we make and work with EXCEPT...we do not actually make or generate them, we are simply using those image link code stuff to play around and test it out in the generator, like, to preview them and stuff (hope i made sense)
-------------------------

Philter Ideas:

How about a 'Philter of Un-dyeing"?

Basically it a probably...really pricy philter that lets you undo the last color you dyed your pet...i mean, for people who can't get greater pet dyes, you probably don't want your pet to stay an icky color or something...and obviously this philter undos the LAST color you dyed your pet, but you don't get that philter you used back.
----------------------------
"Gambler Dice" item: (you can change the name if you want)

This is a 'risky' type of item where applied on a pet it either adds or removes a gene/mutation or swaps, or changes colors around or turns a visable to a carry or a carry to a vis.....obviously can't be used on exclusive pets....i think...well...unless if you're into that kinda stuff.

no, i don't plan for this item to do all that was listed, maybe only one at a time, and only one can be used on a pet and it only changes one thing, not two or three.
---------------------------------
Some special 'exclusive' items:

- Philter of Zombifying: Changes your pet completely to a zombified pet (you don't get the tag at all, just the color scheme)

-Philter of Tyrielle: Changes your pet to a TM pet color scheme (still not tags)

-Philter of Festivities: Changes your pet to match a Festive pet color scheme.

^ hmm....hmm...maybeeee we could have a possibly chance of having a different kind of tagging system for these philtered pets so you can tell its not a real official 'themed' pet...? Well, i dunno.

---------------------

Lesser Prismatic Philter:

^basically what name states, and maybe it can be a scale shop item? Dunno, lol.

Interesting ideas, Steph. I like many of them.

Another one I am very interested is the "Philter of Neutering". I have a project in the works that will need those.

I'm not really sure that the Philter of Un-dyeing has much practical use. I mean, you could just use more dyes to change the color scheme, and it would be a lot cheaper in the long run. :/

However, I could really see this sort of philter being valuable if it could totally revert a pet's color scheme. For instance a tagged wheel or fest themed pet, that someone dyed for one reason or another. It would be especially valuable to players if in using it and reverting the pet to it's original colors, it also removed the little dyed icon that now shows up once a pets colors are changed. This would allow themed pets that might be otherwise unsellable (due to the color change) regain their full value. (Though, that does depend on your view on the whole dying tagged pets thing, which some of us saw raised a lot of hackles)
