So I was wondering what kind of items people have gotten from golden eggs. The announcement just says they contain essences or event items and don't specify rarity, however the golden egg text says "A Golden Eggling of 2013! Open this to receive a legendary festive Surprise."
Have there been a lot of legendary items coming out of these? (I've open 4 now and gotten 3 epic wardrobe items and 1 regular essence).

I've only been able to get one and It was an enhanced essence(Qitari, an animal I'm so-so with). I tried for like a day to get it too, so I was a little disappointed when it was an essence rather than a Legendary Item

I gots regular Qitari essence from them... And I was like, "Whoa BUMMER."
Even those spring surprise are much more forgiving! Giving me enhanced essences and legendary stuff... DX

No golden egg yet, but I have to say.. the 'regular' eggs you crack open for treats have been pretty good!

I got a Morkko essence in a gold eggy. From the random ones I've gotten 2 pairs of Zolnixi ears, a Vulnyx tail, a bunny balloon, a lesser genetic mutator and some gold.

1 golden egg, and I got an enhanced Draeyl essence.. Getting an enh. essence was cool, but I'm not very fond of Draeyls, so... I got wardrobe items, essences and gold from the randomly appeared eggs, though :3 golden eggs are usually gone before I get to click to the scale shop

I got a Festive Spring Outfit... Which was quite a bummer because I already had one lol. Gonna sell it though so I'm ok with it.

I've been holding onto mine.
Namely because I can save them and use them during other holidays to maybe get those event items (as I already have all the legendaries for this one).
((Note: The above feature of saving and using during other holidays is something that was, in fact, confirmed by Krin; just in case anybody thought otherwise, didn't know, or was curious.))

I have the same plan, once I actually get all the legendary items. I'm still missing that flower crown, and I'm going crazy over it.
