Ok, so this thread is intended as a means of handling all those excess ingredients people have that probably won't be usable next Winter Fest (see Krinadon's Comment here).

Basically, everyone who wants to participate sends me their extra ingredients and I will bake as many pets as the raffle pools allow for. Yes, pools, there are two: 1 for non-fabled pets and 1 for fabled pets. What you donate and how much you donate will determine which pool you enter and how many entries you get. You can find more details in the next two posts, which are dedicated to the individual pools.

Please, read all the information before deciding to enter and sending me you excess items. Keep in mind, you do not have to enter the raffle if you don't want to; you can just donate ingredients, if that is what you wish to do. But, please, if you're sending things, try to send them all at the same time, it will make keeping track of everything significantly easier!

Basic Rules:

1) Entries, and the corresponding ingredients, will be accepted until the end of the day on January 10, 2015. I must bake all prize pets the next day and so will need all the ingredients by this time.

2) To enter, please post a statement in this thread indicating that you wish to enter the raffle pool(s) and that you are sending me your ingredients. Once received, I will post a verification that you are entered and tell you how many entries you have. After you enter, I will not be returning the items, so no requesting stuff back for any reason. You MUST post in the thread to tell me you're entering, don't just send me stuff, OR YOU WILL NOT BE ENTERED IN THE RAFFLE!! <= This is the only reliable way for me to keep track of all the entrants.

3) No matter how many entries in a pool you have, you will only be able to win once, unless there are more prizes than there are entrants. However, having multiple entries does increases the odds of your name being higher on the randomized prize list.

4) Ingredients for making fabled pets will only count for entries in the Fabled Pet Pool and ingredients for making regular pets will only count for entries in the Regular Pet Pool. Frost Tokens & Baking Utensils are the only items that can can count for entries in either pool; please designate which pool you want them to count in.

5) Be courteous to the other entrants. Fighting, bad mouthing, or any other rude behavior will automatically disqualify you from the raffle.


Other things you should know:

1) I am hosting the raffle and I am also entering it. Since I am going to be putting a lot of time and effort into this, as well as contributing ingredients, I only think it's fair I get the same opportunity as everyone else.

2) Any unwanted pets at end of the raffle will be put up for public sale at 1 gold for a week and then released into the wild if unsold. (ex. a morkko no entrant wants)

3) Any extra ingredients left over after the raffle is complete, will be deleted from my inventory.

4) Please, remember that it is just me running this whole thing (which is a lot of work) and it will take time to process everyone's entries. Your patience and understanding while I work through everything is appreciated. ^^


Prizes:

The pets will be baked on the last day that the Bakery is available (date to be set by Krinadon). Once all the eggs have hatched I will post them to the correct pool in the thread so everyone can see what's available for each pool. Then, I will randomize the two lists of numbers, one for each pool, corresponding to the list of entrants to determine the order in which people can pick prizes (extra entries will be removed after randomization, so everyone is listed only once, but the highest instance of your name on the list will be the one kept).

If it is your turn to pick a prize, you may:

1) Select a pet for yourself and I will set it for you to pick up, taking it off the list of available prizes; or

2) Swap a bakery pet - if you have one you don't want you may place it in the pool and remove one you do want; or

3) Select an unused spice to keep for next Winter Fest (since spices are the most likely ingredient to still be useable; but keep in mind it is not guarantee); or

4) Pass on your turn, if there is no pet or spice you want.

*If it is your turn to pick a prize, you will have a maximum of 12 hours to make a selection. If you miss your turn, you will be dropped to the bottom of the prize line.*

I am entering both pools for this Raffle and committing all the extra ingredients and spices I have (which are all listed here with a picture for verification, so everyone knows I am actually contributing) and adding two baking utensils (one for each pool).

With what I am adding to the pool, according to the rules, I have the maximum number of entries in each category (2 for the Fabled Pet Pool and 5 for the Regular Pet Pool).


Edit:

(I may add more baking utensils later on, if I have extra tokens left over after buying all the avatar items in the Holiday Shop, even though it will not increase the number of entries I have in the raffle)

If I have, say, 5 Rare Griffi Special Spices, and some Griffi/Neph ingredients, can I put one in for an entry into the fabled pool, and the rest as a bulk to try and build up my normal pool entries?

Edit: It wouldn't actually get me to a second entry, but this is still a legit question for others :)
