You are a completely normal law-enforcer, and you went out on your job. Then.... You die. Your eyes are momentarily closed and when you open them again the world is frozen around you. You walk outside and look up at the sky. You see a swirling hole in a cloud. You start to be lifted up towards it but you are not scared, you feel calm and peaceful. As you enter the hole you see people floating around near the edges, you hear them scream, you hear them cry and moan as you past over them. You keep going toward a strange blue light at the end. You finally reach it and you are in a chair in a plain white room looking at a strange woman. She stares at you and you invert your eyes. "It's a lot to take in isn't it?" She says leaning back in her chair. You stare at her opened mouthed. "Yes, you're dead. And the only thing that kept you from hanging out out there is that we need you. We're R.I.P.D. and you were a good cop that did bad things." You look at her your eyes turning wide. "There are people who escape judgement and go back to earth, we catch them and put them back where they go." She reaches into a door and pulls out a holster and weird looking gun. "So here's the offer on the table, you can stay here and work for us for a hundred years or you can take you chances with judgement." You nod slowly, and she nods once at you. "This is going to tickle." She turns towards the door. You feel a burning on your shoulder and look at it, after rolling up your sleeves a badge similar to the one you had on earth appears like a raised tattoo. You follow her out the door and she brings you to a room full of desks and she leads you to one. "This is your new partner." And she leaves.

How you Died(This is also a test post so make it a story!): As i enter the building with my long befriended partner, i cant help but have a feeling of dread. i walk with my gun out in front of me so that i cant be taken by surprise. This warehouse had been abandoned for many a year but still we got brought out here. How could that be? "Hey...." my limbs go numb as the bullet finds it mark. i fall and my eyes shut but only for a moment then i am back. i sit up, but everything around me is frozen. i stand slowly and walk around wondering what in god's great name could have done this. as i exit the building i find that a bomb had gone off but was now frozen in mid explosion. as i turn a small circle i am lifted into that air to a swirling cloud blue in color. as i emerge on the other side of it i find that i am not the only one there, but there are many people floating as i am. They scream and cry as i float past them. Suddenly i am suck through another cloud and into a chair. a lady sits in front of me. i cant really hear what she says as i try to understand all of this. She hands me a gun, that i then take. My shoulder burns and i drop the gun. as i roll my shirt back i see that i now have a tattoo as my badge i had as an officer of the law. The lady motions for me to follow, she must have been speak this whole time. i shakenly take the gun again and follow. she leads me through a room with no floor and a hall with many doors. she chooses one of them and takes me through. There were many desk in this room, all of them with a single person behind them. Cops walked prisoners to and fro like at any police station. "and this is your partner." and she walks away. i look to him. He was not at all what i thought......
