Anyone here on Sylestia doing Camp NaNoWriMo this April or July? What will you be writing about? Will you be sharing it online anywhere?

I'm doing Camp this April, and possibly July. I'll be writing a Science Fantasy Space Opera about a Mercenary Ship called the Void Queen. I will be sharing it on my dA account but not here as it is sometimes a little too mature.

Camp Nah-No-Wri-Mo' what now? I'd like to hear about this. *sits down and gets out notepad*

NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, which is a challenge to write 50 thousand words in the month of November (Or a number of your own choice if you join the young writer's program). The aim is to encourage creativity and a finished rough draft (since many people are so focused on perfection they never finish writing their first draft).

Camp NaNo is a similar event, except in April and July. You also have the ability to choose a word goal and get put in cabins where you can chat with five other writers.

Will probably do July's Camp as April is always busier for me - stupid End-of-Tax-Year paperwork....grrr.

But I do have an figment account that has a few writing pieces - which I really should update. I'll be putting my attempt up there once I do it... if I get poked enough lol I keep putting things like that off....

I'm thinking about joining this July.
My last attempt at completing NaNo was interrupted by midterms. November was a busy month.
I hope I can actually finish it this time.
