Whenever I try to catch a reindeer qitari, I never succeed. The thing is on the bottom of the your screen it shows what is happening and tells me that I caught the qitari. I go to my stables and I find that it isn't there, and I go check my hatchery.
Summery: When I should to have a reindeer qitari I don't have it in my stables.

Also this happened 3 TIMES. Upset and I want my reindeer.

If your trap succeeds, the battle log will link to your new pet's profile. You can use this to confirm you caught it.
When using traps, there is a chance that upon failing, the pet will run away from the battle. I imagine that is what is happening here.
