... Do we really need so many confirm boxes to release a Sylesti? It seems like an awful amount of extra work- first you have to type out the name of the pet you want to release, which seems like a good plan, so you don't go buttonclick crazy and accidentally release what you didn't mean to. But even after that.. it asks again? I think this is an unnecessary step

Since releasing a pet is a permanent action, we feel it's necessary as to avoid receiving support tickets about "Accidently Released Wrong Pet". It only takes an extra 1-2 seconds.

I have to wonder how many people will click 'release', then type out the name of that Sylesti in the box in order to make certain they really want to release it.. and then act surprised that they accidentally released it, though. o.O

Was just a thought. Streamlining is always a pleasant thing in games

I should point out that on a similar site where releasing pets is an option, there's only one window that pops up asking for confirmation. The users keep complaining that that isn't enough of a fail-safe, and that people keep accidentally releasing their pets anyway. Everyone keeps suggesting a second pop-up like we have here. xD So I can definitely see how streamlining the process might be helpful to some on Sylestia, but alas, I think it'd do more harm than help in the long run. :/

The only issue w/ the typing in the name part is that a lot of people keep their pets as 'Un-named'. A second confirmation just allows users more time to confirm that they're releasing the correct pet.
