@Site_Users,

We are aware of the bad lag occurring during the Dynamic Events. We are working with our Host to improve the issue.

In the meantime, please be patient and understanding that we are doing everything we can to fix it. We know exactly how frustrating lag is when playing a game, so believe me, we are doing everything we can to fix it lol.

We have tweaked some settings and will monitor the 9pm event to see if there's an improvement and room for more tweaking.

We will update this post with anymore information.

I don't really have much to say, because I know you two admin are gamers at heart and experience. xD

So, glad there's humanity on the upper side of Sylestia lol.

We found some trouble areas that we will work to fix ASAP. We removed the random sorting when searching for nurturing and that helped a decent amount.

We will also be re-coding how towns load to load one part at a time rather than all at once. This will considerably increase town load speed as well as use less global resources.

And we are tweaking our server settings to basically work harder lol.

So all in all, we hope you guys can notice some lag improvements as time goes on.

Much progress has been made today. Lag should already be noticeably less. However, it will still lag during events most likely.

There is some re-coding that I need to do in order to completely fix the lag issue. But at this point, we've improved it and we know exactly what's causing it.

From the experience I've had with servers and programs, there are probably some gnarly spots on how the server handles each action by every player... Times that by the 80+ people that were online, and you got a server that is bogging down on the "rough" processing, causing the lag... not to mention, it's sending and receiving packets from all sorts of places, world wide, with varying speeds and band-widths.
But, hey! for just being in it's Beta stage, Syletia is fairing quite well!
