Have you gotten her tested? She probably gained a carried gene. It says in the description that it's a random gene, carried or visible, but usually carried.

Like MakeshiftDemon, lesser mutators will add a random visible or CARRIED trait. Usually they'll add a carried trait, so you won't be able to see what trait it has till you test it.
If you go to the breeding forum, there are people who offer free testing, and they will test your pet for free.

a carried trait won't be shown in the information unless the pet is tested. The mutator likely added a carried trait to your pet that you can't see till you test it.
Like i said, if you go to the breeding forum, there are people who will test your pet for free, then you can see what traits your pet has.

As the other two said, you need to test your pet with a test kit! Either buy a one-use one from the broker, or get someone who has the permanent one from the diamond shop to test your Sylvorpa.
If you want a better chance at getting what you want, get a greater mutator. You get to pick one gene or mutation in whatever slot you want. It is pretty much sound that you'll get a visible
You should probably read into what each usable-item does on your pet before you buy/use it. It'll save a lot of frustration.
