The original Runaway Teens RPG died so i am re-starting it. Anyone is allowed to sign up, but if you participated in the old one, please post any old characters you had as well as any new ones. after many long years of harsh abuse, you decide to run away. You wander the streets for months, fending for your self, finding food, shelter all that survival stuff. So you decided to run away and start a new life somewhere else. After several months of wandering the intimidating city, you meet a group of people with similar background stories like yours. You soon become fast friends. About two years after meeting each other, something unfortunate happens. The girl who first started the group is hit by a car. The driver gets out, and helps you get her to a hospital.

Despite the the doctors' best efforts, she slips into a deep coma. The doctor tells you, your friends, and the driver that she may not make it through the night. Mike (the guy who accidentally hit your friend) offers you and your friends a place to stay for the night. He says to you that he is willing to let you stay until you can support yourself, as long as you help him harvest his apple orchards, and care for the horses he own.

Its been almost three months, since the accident. You visit your friend on the weekends. The doctors are doing the best they can. But nothing seems to work. One day while your visiting her, the heart monitor starts to show flat line. The doctor's manage to get a faint heartbeat, but they say she may not make it through the night. You sit down in the chair, absorbing the shocking news you just found out.

Its been about two years, since the dreadful accident. One day, you receive a call from the hospital, saying your friend is finally awake. You rush to the hospital and, there she is, sitting up and awake. But there is one thing that's different. She is sitting by the window, with her face turned away. A doctor takes you to the side and says "The accident has left her with some severe scarring and blindness in one eye. We are working to fix it, but we dont know if we can..."

Personality: Whisper is somewhat shy and reclusive. A group of people numbering more than three is generally enough to drive him away. Add in people he does not know, and he will generally find somewhere else to be. He is highly sensitive to the moods of others and because of that tends to be jumpy, never knowing where or when the next blow is coming from. Once he opens up, he is quite the clown, enjoying playing harmless practical jokes. He is eager to please, and wants to make friends, but his past abuse makes him proceed with great caution.

History: Born the fourth son in a family unable to afford the mouths it already had, Whisper grew up with little to nothing to call his own. Being the suspected child of one of his mother's numerous affairs made him the target of his father's rage. Add in the fact that Whisper was born mute, it just affirmed his parent's assumption that "he wasn't no good for nothin anyhow". His brothers soon learned that they did not get in trouble for using him as their personal punching bag, and did so at the least provocation. It was not as though he could tell anyone, anyway. As he was the family's skeleton in the closet, he was rarely allowed to go anywhere, except when someone needed something and was too lazy to go get it themselves. It was during one of these trips that Whisper decided to just keep going the other way.

Supernatural Ability: telepathy. He has the ability to speak mind to mind. He cannot read the thoughts of random people, he has to have already established a link with their mind.

Pets: none, but he has been working on taming a squirrel that lives in the tree he likes to climb when there is too big of a crowd for his liking.

Description: Whisper is rather small and mousy. He looks to be about ten years old, although he is sixteen. He stands at five foot two inches when he actually stands up straight. Most of the time, he is sort of drawn into himself, slouching to make himself even smaller than he already is. Mostly skin and bones, he has the metabolism that keeps him from keeping any weight on his frame. His hair is a sandy brown, kept mostly in a bowl cut. It is the easiest style Whisper can manage himself, and the only way he knows how to cut his hair. His eyes are a dark blue, rarely dancing with mirth, most often holding a haunted look. He does not carry many visible scars of his past abuse, but his nervous nature and seclusion mark him as one of the damaged if someone knows what to look for. Whisper likes to wear clothes slightly too big for him, as he feels this makes him look bigger. It also makes him feel as though he has somewhere to hide. Most of the time, he wears a dark colored long sleeve t-shirt and jeans. His sneakers are well worn and close to falling apart, but he seems loathe to change them.

She is depressed, suicidal and struggles with self harm. She wants to get help but is afraid of how her friends will react when they see the scars that line her arm. Many people have never seen the side of Bella that disappeared after the accident. The few who did see that side of her knew her to be a happy, fun life-loving teen girl who wanted to help others.
