I've just gotten my first Sylesti essence and went to the generator to create it. I've checked several times but it on't generate the creature for me.
It's a Qitari essence - one to make a regular Qitari.
What Am I doing wrong? I've click the "generate my sylesti" several times and nothings happened.

First, make sure that if you have a regular essence (blue) then you are using the regular generator, and if you have an enchanted essence (purple) you are using the enhanced generator.

Second, make sure the essence is actually in your inventory - if you had an essence but it disappeared before you used it, there is a thread in the bug forum about that occurrence.

edit: Also I think the generator was updated today, so if the "yes" "no" buttons aren't working/appearing then refresh a few times to clear your cache.

How can I get another essence?

You can battle wild sylestis which has a rare chance to drop essences You can also find them in mission Satchels and nurturing sylestis Or if you must get an essence now, you can always check the Trade Broker (Trade>Trade broker) and search on 'essences' via the drop down menu.
