What about this crazy idea?:
You can collect ingredients from all over the festival, if you mix up certain recipes you can get a tagged pet for example:
Ginger Bread Cookie Qitari recipe
1. 1 bag of brown sugar
2. 1 bag of Flour
3. 3 Assorted Frostings
4. 4 Gumdrops
5. 1 bowl of water
6. A stick of butter

Whatever is in gingerbread cookies, and then you put it in the oven and you get the pet, How about that? There can be a baker to help you to
