Hey, I'm fairly new to this site and I'm a bit lost on how colour works on this site. I just came from a different pet breeding site with a colour wheel with limited possibilities but this site...wow....every colour you could imagine.

My question is how is the colour of a hatchling decided? Is it a certain colour in the range of the two parent colours or is it just mass the parent colours together to get a new colour?

Thank you!

I'm not sure how the colour code exactly is calculated, but the baby can come out anywhere between the two parents' colours.

So the baby might come out looking like the father, or the mother, or just something in between. There's also a colour swing factor, where the colour might change a little from the two parents' colours.

Okay so the hatchlings colour is similar or the same as the parents colour. Okay I think I get.
Thank you!
