I can't seem to get past the opening of the tutorial. She's told me to hit "explore the area" when I'm ready and I've been at it for half an hour and she hasn't advanced at all. Am I doing something wrong?

Have you accepted all of the quests at Esior's Haven?

If I leave Explore she says:

"It sounds like Esior's Fields are in danger! The fields are the primary source of food for the entire kingdom, so any disruption can have very bad consequences!

I think you and your Sylesti are capable of handling this. What do you say we go teach some bandits how to play nice?!

Use your Map to enter Esior's Fields."

And if I go to Esior's Fields she tells me to explore when I'm ready. I've completed all available quests and I'm in the windmill.

Is there a choice to explore the area?

Sounds like you haven't quite finished Esior's Fields yet. Continue exploring the area until it won't let you anymore.

When it's time to head back to town, the zone won't let you explore anymore.
