SETUP- It is the morning. The first day of class is about to start.

Mythos stretched, yawning wide and blinking in the early morning light. He pulled himself out of bed, pulling on a nice shirt and pants. Splashing some water on his face, Mythos adjusted a silver tie around his neck. He checked himself out one last time in the mirror, taking a deep breath.
"I guess I'm ready for a new year."

Jason looked blearily around his dorm, dreading that morning had arrived. It's too early in the morning.., he thought bitterly. Running his fingers through his slimy hair, the kelpie grabbed a scroll off the dresser. It was a note from the Headmaster, telling the student body to be in the Mess Hall by 8:00 o'clock sharp. "Maybe we can get something to eat while we are there." Jason muttered, stumbling out of his room and into the hall, still in the process of pulling on a shirt and pants.

Severus slithered across the stone floor, heart threatening to beat out of his chest. Today was his first day at Mythos High, the first day in his new life. Maybe my peers will be nice..... He had made sure to get up earlier than needed, Severus didn't want to be late, not even close to it. Arriving into the large, nearly empty room, Severus fell into a chair, trying to calm himself down.

Kenda was nervous. If she was honest with herself, she would say terrified. She knew that today she would be meeting all the other students who were to be attending Mythos. She herself had already been staying there a few day after she stumbled in dirty, hungry, tired, and a bit numb. She couldn't believe her mother was gone. She still couldn't believe she had to move on, that there was so much more in the world than the lake she had grown up in. She would have to meet so many people. 'I hope...I hope that I don't have to talk with them very much.' She fidgeted with her simple dress, still not liking the way the fabric on her skin as she made her way to the hall, casting her gaze about quickly. She saw a few people already there and therefore made sure to sit quite far away from everyone she saw, folding herself up slightly. 'I miss you...' She sighed as she closed her eyes, waiting for what was to come.

Jubal was very afraid he was going to be late. The clock in the simple room he had been staying in off campus had gone out completely, and so he had practically jumped out of his bed and gotten ready for the morning. After he was ready he wasted no time literally hoofing it to Mythos High. When he arrived at the outer doors he was panting slightly trying to catch his breath after running so long. He finally caught sight of a clock and let out a low groan when it read 7:25. He plopped down on a nearby bench and decided to wait a while. To let his breath and his thoughts catch up to him. He had a tiny spark of hope in him, this place was supposed to be different. Maybe for once, he could have a friend that wasn't his mother or his aunt.

Chusi was ready. She had been waiting for this day since she found out she would be going to Mythos. She had woken up just early enough, did her hair and make up just so, put on the perfect outfit. She was formidable, she wouldn't be shaken. She had considered sitting next to someone specifically to interact but had decided against it. She didn't know how it would look to talk to someone whose usefulness she didn't know on purpose. She reached the hall and scanned it, her eyes bright as she crossed the room in a few long, purposeful strides. She sat directly in the middle near the front, within a few seats from some people, but no one in her immediate vicinity. 'I'll make you proud. I'll make everyone proud.'

Eiji's chest gave a bit of a flutter as he gazed up at the facade of Mythos. 'It's so big...There must be so many students and teachers here!' Logically, he had known this before. But seeing it again made him a bit nervous. But nevertheless he smiled, feeling his heart still fluttering as he made his way inside, casting glances at the architecture and some of the fellow students he saw. 'Wow. There are so many different species here! I'd bet some of these students are things I never even heard of.' If he had stepped back and used his powers of observation on himself he'd see he was nervous and a bit giddy. But he did not, and instead situated himself near the right side of the room, close to the door he'd come in on. 'I'm going to learn so much here. About myself and others. And...And maybe I can even make a true connection to some of these people. Maybe.' Eiji's smile grew wistful as he gazed sightlessly off at a far wall, no longer in the room in anything but body.

It is morning. The first day of class is about to start.

Bella looked at the huge school. HUGE. A new place, new people, new things. It was nerve racking.
She forced herself to enter the building, though her feet wouldn't budge before. Her feet seemed to echo in the halls, though that likely her imagination.
Bella remained wandering in the halls. She liked to look around and explore her new school. As incredibly big it was, as many, many students were probably in it. Not many students had woken up and got out early, but Bella was an early bird.
"I'm so nervous..." she thought to herself. "But why? Am I just this shy? Oh gosh, what if my class doesn't like me? What if they hate me? Oh no...." she yammered on in her head.
She stopped walking suddenly. She noticed a black haired boy with red eyes staring at her. He was alone, with no one around him.
Bella hid her face and walked faster. "What the heck? That was creepy! Oh my gosh, he seemed like a stalker!" she thought. "No Bella, he's probably nice. You're just judging his looks. Ugh! Why have I become so mean?" she felt bad for herself for a sudden. And for that guy... "Ugh, that was embarrassing! He probably thought I was weird... Great."
She remained wandering and wandering. But somehow she'd always end up seeing that guy again...

Her short hair flowed behind her. She was walking in the corridors of Mythos High. How was she going to do this? She gripped her backpack tighter as she walked by other students. They all seemed to know each other... Not like she did.
"Bird Class." She said to herself. Classes hadn't started yet, though she didn't een now what time they were supposed to get to class.
Azura decided to hang around outside. She didn't know if she was allowed to, but she didn't feel like asking the staff around her. She sat in a private area where no one could possibly find her. She didn't know if anyone could hear her, but most students weren't in the halls yet. She took out her violin and started playing. She decided to play a little quiet melody, since she didn't want others to hear her play.
She ended her song. It was nice to play once in a while. It got her mind off of everything. She felt calm and confident. Just then, a head popped out from one of the bushes.
"Ah!" Azura yelled.
It was a boy, a boy with dark hair and deep blue eyes. He looked at her with a smile.
"Hi." he said.
"...Oh no." she thought.

Penelope looked up at the school. She was extremely excited. Her first year ever to go to school! She didn't know what it was like, but at least she knew someone.
Her friend Josh, was talking beside her. She didn't know what he was talking about, since she was too busy thinking about the school.
"Penny?" he called.
"Hm? Oh sorry, what were you saying?" she asked.
He rolled his eyes. "Okay, so me and you are going to the cafeteria together right?"
Penelope gave him a look with disgust. "Eew! As a date?" she said, her face scrunched up.
"No!" he said, rolling his eyes again. "Just as friends, silly. I don't know anyone else around here."
Penny laughed. "Of course!"
In the middle of their talk, Penelope heard a sound. No, not a sound, music.
She looked around. "Do you hear that?" she said.
"Yeah. I'll go check it out." he said walking towards the music.
Penelope nodded. "Okay, I'll meet you inside."

Penny waited inside by the door. More and more students started walking in. They passed by her, looking at her ears. She didn't mind, though it was a little annoying.
"Where the heck is Josh?" she thought to herself.
She started walking by herself. She didn't want to wait for Josh. She wanted to look around! The corridors were wide and very well cleaned.
Penelope decided to go back. She would feel bad if Josh couldn't find her, and he'd probably get mad.

Josh looked around. He didn't know where he even was, but he wanted to find out where that music was coming from.
He spotted a few bushes. That seemed to be the place where the music was coming from. But why bushes?
He poked his head through the bushes. There he saw a girl. A cute one apparently. Her hair was short and blue, and her eyes a sparkling gold. He smiled at the girl, though she looked very shy.
"Hi." he said.
The girl gave him a confused and frightened look. He knew he made a little mistake.
"Sorry to scare you, but your music is... good." He said. He tried to sound as nice as possible.
The girl looked at him blankly and stood up, packing her violin. "Thanks."
Josh looked disappointed. "Did I do something wrong?" he thought.
He was about to say something to the girl, but she had already gone.

Lorelei sighed as she sat on a bench. She missed her parents so much. She didn't know this could be so hard. She missed them dearly...
"Why? I never wanted to go to school. They're the ones that made me go here... Where I have no friends." she thought, frowning. She sighed again. "But if they want me to... I guess I could give it a try."
Loud voices came closer to her. A group of boys were heading in her direction. She faced her legs. She never really liked a boy before, but she'd always been too shy around them.
As the boys passed, she stood up as walked away. "Ugh, that was... FAIL! Ugh, that's annoying! Why, why, why?" she thought.
Well, she just had to get used to it.

Lily wandered up the halls and stairs. She was excited to see her classroom and meet new people, but she still is scared to enter as well.
"Lily, seriously." she thought. "This is a school without humans. Geez, get over that fear!"
She wanted to get over it so bad, but sadly, she couldn't. Humans just were... Scary to her.
She sighed, holding her white bag. She was practically wearing all white, white shirt, white jeans, white shoes....
She was bored. She didn't know anyone, and she wouldn't be able to talk to others. Everyone was in human form, so she didn't know what to expect.
Lily kept bumping into people. She didn't know why. She had this weird habit of not paying attention to where she was going when she was nervous.
"Gosh, so many students..." she thought. She was not used to this.

Asher walked around, preferably goofing around. The first day, he wanted to show off! Especially to the girls. Though he knew he was acting weirdly, so he decided to act cool.
Most of the girls looked at him, with confused looks. Some murmured and joke about him, but he didn't mind.
He stood in the halls, waiting for the announcements to be announced.
"When will the classes start?" he mumbled to himself. He was really excited to see his classmates, and he didn't want a minute to be wasted.

Corwin stayed in the halls for a long time. He didn't know what to do.
He lay his head on the wall. "So bored...."
He then spotted a whirl of pink. He didn't want to, but he looked up anyways.
There was a girl with long flowing pink pair, with a matching outfit. Her face looked worried, and she seemed somewhat shy. Her gaze fell upon him, and he for some reason, couldn't take his eyes off her. She looked at him for a moment. She covered up her face.
"W-what?" Corwin thought. Why was she doing that? She disappeared into the halls, her long hair still following her.
Corwin closed his eyes and took deep breaths. "Why did I do that? I must have seem creepy... Ugh, but she was... pretty. The heck, what am I saying?" he thought.
She really was pretty. He had never seen another girl he had the same feelings with.
Maybe he could talk to her later...

Mythos walked throughout the school, peeking into classrooms. Long, blond hair swept behind him with every step. Satisfied with his orderly school, he went into a jog to the intercom system. He had some things to announced.
"Students! Remember to be at the Mess Hall at 8:00 sharp. I, along with your teachers, will address you about how the classes will work and such." He paused, giggling. "And if that doesn't motivate you to show, food will be served after the lecture. I hope to see you there, I am excited to meet the new students."

Severus looked up upon the sound of Mythos's voice, carefully making sure he was at the right place. Not many students had shown up yet, maybe they would fill in later this morning. The naga stared shyly at a girl that was sitting next to him, as he didn't expect anyone to sit near him. He wrung his hands in his lap, picking at long fingernails. He wanted to talk, but that would be much too awkward. He may say something wrong.

(The lecture will start when EVERYONE is in the cafeteria.)

Saquia wakes up and stretches finally a safe place to call home she turns and sees Phinesa still asleep. Saquia shakes her head and wakes up Phinesa by saying "Hey, Sleepy head. You don't want to miss out on all the cute guys do you?" With that Phinesa launches up and starts to get ready.


Ilandere walk around the halls of the school looking at all her fellow classmates. She sees a guy with a eye patch over his right eye (Keegan). She's amazed that someone else has an injured right eye. She walks up to him just before she said hi a voice on a loud speaker came on and told the students that there would be a meeting in the cafeteria. After it ended she went up to the boy, "Hello my name's Ilandere, what's your's? Oh and what class are you going to be in? I'm in the Bird one."

A'ine wakes up suddenly when a voice started talking it was Mythos. I better get used to getting up earl if I want to get good grades She launches up out of bed and opens her door and heads for the cafeteria on the way she see a slender girl with brown hair in the hall she walks up to her "Hi I'm A'ine what's your name?" The girl looks out her and quickly looks upset. "I'm sorry. What's wrong?" Suddenly two girl's that look exactly like her turn the corner and see her, "Oh are you three triplets." The first girl nods a 'yes' one of the other girls started talking "Hi my name's Kalpana, but, you can call me Kaya, this is my sister Kala," She jesters to the one who walked up with her, "And she's Kali, I'm assuming you asked her. When she didn't answer she wasn't trying to be rude she can't talk." That makes soooo much sense just then A'eda'n walked up and said, "Good morning." she smiles and says "Good morning yourself. Kaya, Kala, Kali met my older brother A'eda'n. We're twins." "It's very good to meet you, A'eda'n I think we should get to the cafeteria." Kaya said and they left.

Alderic was going down the halls..... walking on his hands. Of course everyone was staring but he's used to starers. Suddenly he was looking at the bottom of a red skirt. He tried to balance himself with the quick stop but could and he fell "Oh my gosh! are you okay?" He looked up to see a girl with blond hair "Yeah I'm good. This happened all the time at the circus." She looked wide-eyed at him, "A circus! That had to be fun to grow up at. Wait a second! Was the circus called 'The flaming marvel'?" It was Alderic's ture to look wide-eyed at her, "Yes it was how'd you know?" "My dad took me to it once and I recognize you, my name's Arnbjorg, but you can call me Jora." He smiled at her, "Well hi Jora my names Alderic, did you like the circus the time you went?" She nodded vigorously. "Well then let's go to the cafeteria, I could tell you which parts I did on the way." She smiled. "That be awesome!"

Phinesa finished getting dressed in a simple top she was so happy not to have to hide when she slept. She ran out of her room and skipped down the halls. She looked around and noticed immediately that they weren't any other satyrs she stopped and sat down on a bench her eyes wandering aimlessly. She looked at the other side of the bench and there was a satyr... A boy satyr she turned to him and tapped him on the shoulder, "Hi, My names Phinesa what's your's?"

Jubal was taken out of his reverie when he unexpectedly felt a tap on his shoulder, he choked on the breath he was drawing in and coughed a few times as he felt his face heat in embarrassment. After clearing his throat he gave the girl, 'Phinesa, she said her name was Phinesa," a sheepish smile.

"H-hi there. Sorry about that, you startled me. My name is Jubal, it's nice to meet you, Phinesa." He held out a hand to her, already a bit apprehensive about what kind of response she would have. 'What if she's just going to make fun of me...Oh God maybe coming here was a mistake.' His smile wavered slightly as he tried to keep his hand and arm from shaking.

Astrid got up early as usual. She pulled on a plain t-shirt and shorts. She dragged a brush through her messy hair in the bathroom. Grumbling, she threw the hair brush down and pulled her hair into a messy ponytail. She hoped she could make some friends, or at least acquaintances today. She sighed nervously and walked to Mythos. She grinned when she saw the school. It was... well big. She walked in a looked around. All kinds of students were here. She headed toward the cafeteria. She forced herself to smile as she looked for a place to sit before class. She flopped down in an empty seat, not bothering to look st who she sat next to

Ember pulled her hood up and stepped into the hall. She walked in the shadows, close to the wall. just have to play it cool and lie low for the day"she thought. She looked around at everyone. Lots of people. She hurried to find a seat near the back of the room and waited.

Orion walked to school in his human form. He reached the school and sighed. He didnt want to go in. Big places and crowds were not his thing. He shoved his left hand in his coat pocket as he entered the big building. He walked down the hall and found a seat in the middle isle, toward the side of the room.

"Hi Jubal, it's very nice to meet you," She shook his hand, "I was starting to get scared there would be anothe satyr in class." she noticed he was blushing and Pinesa started blushing. "So what brought you to Mythos, if you don't want to tell me it's okay." just then she noticed Saquia watching her and Saquia came over, "Phinesa who's your new friend?" Phinesa started getting jumpy. "Oh, Saquia this is Jubal, Jubal this is my older sister Saquia." Phinesa looked pleadingly at Saquia, Saquia just put her hand out to Jubal "It's nice to meet you Jubal, I'm afraid I won't be joining you in class, I'm a bit to old. I'm going to talk to Mythos and see if I could apply for a assistant fighting teacher position." Phinesa let out a small sigh of relief.
