in Pass the Haiku Duck,( PHD :D )
-Yes the duck part is just for fun!!-
You create a theme in your head, don't tell anyone,
and create a poem about it. - post it and ping the person-
THE NEXT PERSON,
will have to make a poem based off of what they think yours is about,
and then create their own theme.
Rule: YOU CAN'T SAY YOUR THEME
Note: If the 2nd person guesses the poem, good for them! not a goal, or anything wrong!
ONE MORE NOTE: once person two creates a poem based off of person one, the first persons theme is ended, and person two then starts a new theme. - each theme should only last for two people!
Note #3 : please post yours right away, reserving a post puts everyone on hold.
Last note: ANY KIND OF POEM, JUST NEEDS TO BE POETIC
EXAMPLE:

PERSON ONE: poem about ducks, does not say ducks, but includes feathers and beaks.
PERSON TWO: thinks person one was talking about just birds, and creates a bird-related poem,
Their next theme is rainbows, does not say rainbows, talks about colors, rain, and sun.
PERSON THREE: guesses it IS about rainbows, one more rainbow poem is created by them, then the rainbow theme ends, and they start a book theme.
AND SO ON...
and yes, ducks are NEEDED in your post even if your poem is,like about sandwiches!
IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION, MAIL ME TO AVOID CLUTTERING!!

thanks everyone! hope you enjoy!!

Red and orange and yellow lives,
overlap the baby greens, tall and high,
The clutters streams are still seen, through the green,
and by and by a blanket covers the dreams of orange, red, and creamy green.

WENT WITH A WEIRD TONGUE TWISTER! :D

note: just put a pic of a duck, or link to a pic!!

This is all I got... A butterfly? (Wild guess)
Sounds fun! :)

Sweet with sugar, and maybe vanilla
Made with flour, and all sweets you can fill up,
Chocolate, strawberries, and your name written in blue,
And there it is, a sweet gift just for you!

Can anyone guess...?

I'm going to link it, the pic is too big.

Duckie from Pretty in Pink! Not a real duck but he was the first person I thought of when I heard "ducky*

Birthday cake?

I walk your every step,
I follow you to the end of the world,
And no, when you can't see me, it doesn't
mean that I'm gone, I just under your feet, or
hiding amongst my own.

Whoopee! You got it right!
Also Firepepper just told me you have to make a poem of what you think my poem was about.

Okay... A shadow?

I'm always around you, even when you don't see,
When you smile or blink, it can not be seen on me.
I follow you, like a stalker, but not,
I'll always be there, if it's cold or hot.

Okay, my second poem.

They gallop, trot, and run,
Always feeling free and having fun, if there is rain, or if there is sun.
Some are quite friendly and tame, while others are fierce and wild.
But all are gentle when they have a child.
Thud, thud, thud, you hear their hooves,
Thud, thud thud, you see them move.

Wow, I'm proud of that one! :)

Who doesn't love a BLUE rubber duckie?

Yep!

real ducks

Wild horses

Free and wild they race,
not against the wind,
but
with the wind,
manes streaming, hooves pound in time
with eachothers heartbeats as they run as
one.

I'm free, one with the sky,
stretch out my wings, I'm of the
air, and the metal,
My claws tucked in,
wings flap,
buoying me in the choppy sea of the sky

Yep, yep, yep! Guessed it right again! It's obvious...

Lemme see... A bird? IDK, that one was tricky.

In the sky, flying high,
Wings flapping and gliding.
I squawk and chirp then sing a song,
And my friends sing along.
In the winter we leave and go south,
But we don't go to random whereabouts,
And in the spring, we're here again,
And will never stop until our journey ends.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

It doesn't need to be perfect.
It can be realistic, and it can be creative.
Some are in this world, but most in our fantasy.
Creative is key.
Colours, colours, everywhere, a picture can be seen.
Some are a blur, but some are clear. And others you may not understand.
The sky, the moon, the earth,
It can be anything really.
From a kingdom in a storybook,
To a real place in our world.

Rainbow celestial dragons?

They flew with the moon.
Streaming colors of the sun.
Their wings were the sky, their teeth the stars.
But, somehow, the starlit bursts of color disappeared.

They flit, and skim.
Dodging the dangers of the world.
You see them flutter up higher and higher, but then they fall.
How do they go on knowing the pain, the pain of life?

is you poem about a baby bird?

A beak and wings,
then you can flap forever.
Practice makes perfect,
when a pair of wings work together.
Slimy, boneless, gooey worms,
I wonder how they eat there germs.
